Simple + Southern Sunday No. 16

“Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us—

Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.

And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built And the earth is filled with Your glory”
 -Speak O Lord, Keith Getty & Stuart Townend

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work”
‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16-17‬

The grist mill was built in 1927 in Mountain Brook.  This served as a restaurant with meals ranging from 50 cents to $1.75.  Residents found it to be a delightful rest stop while on horseback rides!!

Virginia is now a regular on the blog!  Who can resist this face or her baking skills or her leotard worn backwards?
