“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalm 139:23-24 “The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled, and pardoned from his sin”
-Frederick M. Lehman
A lovely church with English Tudor style architecture! Unusual sunrise with a misty fog on our pasture!A red barn-always demands a photo!Little birds on the loropetalum outside our dining room window! Can anyone identify them? Deacon is so proud of his new friend, Mr. Turtle! This beautiful old two-story mansion (near our home) was built in 1842. Five thousand acres were purchased from the Cherokee Indians for the plantation! Risotto with asparagus, Black Forest ham, mushrooms, and parmigiana-Saturday dinner at home! The world-renowned Fox Theatre was originally conceived in 1928 as a Shriners’ headquarters! Quickly it was sold to William Fox (movie mogul). The 3,622-pipe Moller organ was the crowning addition when the theatre opened its doors on Christmas Day in 1929. Butch and I have attended several plays and concerts in the splendid movie palace. However, the most memorable concert was taking my Daddy to hear Johnny Mathis with a full orchestra performing a Christmas show in the storied Fox!! New York City’s got nothing on our little downtown hotdog stand! Miniature log cabin completely handmade by my late uncle!We love sharing our week in pictures with you on Sundays!
“I was glad when they said to me,
‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’”

Such an inspiring and reflective Sabbath pause. You always capture the serenity of a
subject in you photos.That little guy certainly knows how to pick a playmate. Butch, we
ALL knew they were cedar waxwings,wink-wink. A very peaceful and enjoyable Sabbath.

Thank you Mary. But, I am wondering how you read Simple Southern Sunday Post 27 today? That would have been posted in 2015. Inquiring minds want to know…
