Tablescape Tuesday: Fiesta Alfresco!

“The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made”
‭Psalm‬ ‭145‬:‭8-9

The past week has brought warm days…cool nights…and rain free, finally! Hopefully spring weather will stay a little while before the heat and humidity of summer grabs our Deep South!  We invite you to join us on the patio as we take advantage of this weather that I consider perfection!

With beautiful weather, it was time for dinner alfresco! The inspiration for this setting is the “fiesta” tablecloth that coordinates with fiesta dinner ware! Since I don’t own any fiesta ware, I mixed an array of colors for dining alfresco!   If you have followed a couple of posts-How Does Your Garden Grow? and Patio Possibilities?-then you know our back yard space is about to get a complete makeover.  The landscaper is supposed to get started this week!  The next alfresco tablescape should look differently!  Stay tuned! Colorful stack…blueberry blue, strawberry red, and watermelon green with lemon yellow napkins!  My very old everyday stainless flatware with a pineapple (symbol of hospitality) design.  Late Sunday afternoon …perfectly spring…warm but not hot and a gentle breeze!  The peach tea was a nice thirst quencher!  The sunlight on the pasture in springtime is always beautiful. 8The glassware is suited for this festive dinner for four!
The wild flowers are from our pasture.  Maybe the correct word is weeds instead of flowers.  Butter weed is prolific this time of year…love its bright and happy color  The pottery with its colorful fruit is potted with petunias!  It just seems to fit into our little fiesta! Eating on the patio is never complete without Oreo.  He slept throughout the fun. We aren’t too exciting, apparently!! 13As the sun begins to set, we are so reminded of God’s grace and goodness! Do you enjoy eating outside?  How often do you eat alfresco?

Great way to enjoy dinner in spring….lovely! I love Oreo, so sweet, we don’t have to be exciting for our pets to love us they just want to be in our presence! Happy Tuesday.

  2. Beautiful Pam – looks like a perfect evening. We love to eat al fresco as much as possible, unfortunately with the Great British Weather not nearly as often as we’d like!!! Wet, windy and cold here at the moment…..

a fun table for a fiesta, but not rowdy enough to disturb the sleeping kitty. The spring green in your backyard is so lovely. Good luck with the landscape Reno!

    • Angelina, thank you so much for your comments! The landscaping crew showed up yesterday, so the back yard space now looks like a war zone! Will be so glad to finish the project! Have a great Thursday! Blessings, Pam

  5. Marsha says:

Absolutely love the colorful tablescape. It reminds me of Spanish or Portuguese pottery. I love to dine outside at any time of the day, but we are limited by the weather here in Wisconsin. Your tablescape reminds me of the lovely outdoor restaurants in Spain. How lovely it is to be able to enjoy the surroundings while relaxing and have a wonderful meal. While enjoying your pictures, I could almost hear the soothing guitar music. Thank you for creating such a festive tablescape that takes me back to the charming city of Estepona.

    • Marsha, I loved reading your comments! I love when moments shared evokes memories of wonderful places and people. I haven’t explored much of Spain but certainly hope to. We have been to Barcelona and that was amazing! My husband plays guitar beautifully, by the way! Have a wonderful Thursday! Blessings, Pam

Oh Pam, I just love your pretty and bright tablescape! The tablecloth is darling and I was thinking to myself that it would make a cute summer skirt 🙂

I just told my husband the other day that I can’t wait until we can eat supper outside. Thanks for blessing us at Roses of Inspiration. Hugs to you!

Such a fun and colorful tablescape Pam! I love the fun stack of dishes and the tablecloth is perfect. I love the wildflowers, weeds or no weeds; they are so cheery! Can’t wait to see what you are doing in your yard. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  8. Rosie M. says:

What a happy and beautiful table! LOVE that cloth and you’ve accented it perfectly with your choices of plates and centerpiece. It would be such a pleasure to sit there and have a meal. Perfect for the season! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

  9. Kim says:

Your table is so fun! I love all the colors…so happy and cheerful. We had an abundance of weeds in our pasture, too, until crop-dusters sprayed Roundup a couple of weeks ago. We were gone on a trip last week, and over the weekend after coming home, we were going to eat outside. I had the table all set and everything. But, the late afternoon sun was blazing, so we ate inside. 🙁 Looks like it’s already too hot here. I’m glad y’all enjoyed your fiesta alfresco while you still can. BTW, Oreo has the perfect name! Also, I hope your Mother’s Day was wonderful.

    • Kim, I certainly hope you had a great Mother’s Day! We love to eat outside, but the last few days have gotten really hot and dry! As always, your comments are so encouraging! Pam

  10. Cindy says:
