“Gracious words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body”
Proverbs 16:24
Thank you, dear readers, for your overwhelming response and gracious comments about our landscaping and garden project! It was a long-time coming for us! I have so enjoyed being outside, so it was a given that I would do a garden tablescape this week! Early Sunday evening was a perfect time to set up a table for four!
We love to eat outside and since the patio has no furniture, the garden will be our “go to” for now!
I must keep it simple since it is more steps from my kitchen!
While running errands last week I came across this cute set of outdoor dinnerware! Folks, it isn’t china and my friend, Patti would call it plastic (aka melamine)!
With the umbrella in use, the centerpiece is minimal…three cobalt vases with rosemary and basil from the garden! Their scent is heavenly!
The colors of the dinnerware worked perfectly with what I already had…placemats, glasses, napkins!
Star napkin rings are used to cinch a casual blue napkin and a dressy sheer one!
The eating area is a cozy spot with the sunflowers growing behind!! Can’t wait for them to bloom!!
Pagoda-style umbrella was a recent purchase (on sale)!
Love all the shades of green with the cobalt!
A beautiful evening in the garden…peaceful and quiet!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11

Thank you, Jann! I am not a fan of plastic either! The melamine is everywhere this year, so, I decided to give it a try just to use in the garden!
