“Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,”
Psalm 119:1-2 “Your love never fails, it never gives up, never runs out on me!
Higher than the mountains that I face, stronger than the power of the grave,
constant in the trial and the change…one thing remains“
Christa Black-Gifford, Brian Johnson & Jeremy Riddle
“‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”
Jeremiah 32:17 We were in awe of this sunset over the North Sea last week while traveling the British Isles! I can imagine living in this thatched cottage in the countryside of England! Saturday evening in the garden! Our precious great nephew, Benji, celebrating his third birthday! He was kinda excited! The world’s longest yardsale begins in Gadsden, AL (our hometown) and travels to Addison, Michigan for a total of 690 miles! Dusk settling over our city! Maine lobster baked in shell with mushroom cream sauce and crispy Parmesan! Built by William the Conqueror over one thousand years ago, the remains of Corfe Castle in Dorset County England. We so enjoyed spending time among the ancient ruins! Better late than never! Our okra is finally producing! “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.”
Isaiah 53:7
“I was glad when they said to me,
‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’”
Psalm 122:1

Awesome pictures again, Pam. Looks like you two really got around last week! I can’t believe I’ve grown up so close to that huge yard sale and have never been. I should put that on my bucket list…might actually happen that way. Hope you and Butch have a blessed day of our Lord!

Kim, thanks so much! We have had a wonderful day with extended family and with our faith family! Wishing you a joy-filled week!

I always love your Sunday posts. I am in awe of all the bloggers who are willing to share their faith. We have an Alabama connection. My Dad was a pastor in Birmingham and Montgomery many years ago when I was a little girl. Birmingham was my dad’s hometown and I was born there when he was in Howard College (now Samford).

Nancy, such encouraging words. Thanks for sharing your Alabama connection. My nephew and niece graduated from Samford! Where do you live now? Have a lovely week!
Blessings,
Pam

I LOVED the picture of the English cottage and crawled right into it, imagining the coziness of living there so long ago.
Thanks for sharing!
