Silos represent a rich history of sewing and reaping across this great land.
A different look at our nearest barn…we’ve shown it before from a distance but yesterday’s blue sky backdrop demanded a closer look.
Our nearby farming community is a beautiful area with stunning views of Lookout Mountain. In this cemetery we found markers for those born in the 18th century and several graves of confederate soldiers.
We call it powerhouse lake when describing this part of Weiss Lake. In a few weeks warmer weather will bring a lot of activity to the waters behind this lone pine.

We love a country lane. This one happens to be at our place and mainly used by tractors with haying equipment and whitetail deer!
