Tablescape Tuesday: Just Because

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and I dare say the way to mine is through flowers.  My sweet husband knows this, and often buys me flowers…just because.  He doesn’t even need a good reason…just to show his love for me!  He came on Saturday with a dozen beautiful pink roses in hand, and naturally I started thinking of how to incorporate them into this week’s Tablescape Tuesday!  With gloomy skies, colder temperatures, and possible snow flurries predicted, I wanted to set the table with a nod to spring, but still winter appropriate!

The toile dinner plates work well with the table runner and pink roses!

The table runner also has aqua flowers among the pink, so the trio of mason jars seem to be the perfect container for the pink roses!

Aqua-colored glasses certainly worked well with the mason jars!

Pink napkins with hand-crocheted napkin rings!

Creamy white charger with the toile dinner plate!

I placed a pair of Italian-made figurines between the roses to add interest!

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold
in a setting of silver”
Proverbs‬ ‭25‬:‭11‬

Everything about this table is calming and lovely. It would be hard, but if I had to pick a favorite thing, I think it would be the dishes. Gorgeous!

    • Everyday Living says:

Kim, thanks so much! I have really enjoyed these dishes, and they were a steal from Tuesday Morning! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

    • Everyday Living says:

Debbie, thanks so much! It is very cold and windy here in NE AL with a few snow showers and a little dusting on the ground! Stay warm and safe! I think a steaming mug of hot chocolate might be in my afternoon!

  2. Leslie Anne Tarabella says:

I always say I’m not a pink person, but swoon whenever I see it! So beautiful and how clever of you to split the flowers up into smaller arrangements!

    • Everyday Living says:

Thanks so much, Leslie Anne! I agree with you about not being so much of a pink person, but I love to accent with its variations of shades!

  3. How sweet of Butch to buy you roses! Timely roses too! I love aqua and it pares beautifully with pink. What pretty toile plates. Great figurines, coasters and napkin rings to embellish your pretty tablescape. Almost forgot the runner that pulled all your colors together.
I’ve missed a few of your posts since I’ve been busy busy preparing for Garden Club at my home yesterday. I’ll have a post up about it soon.

    • Everyday Living says:

Thanks so much, sweet Bonnie! Yes, Butch is the best! Can’t wait to see your garden party!! Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

  4. Jann Olson says:

Hi Pam, I have always loved toile and the plates are perfect with your gorgeous roses and aqua jars! Happy Valentines and thanks for sharing with SYC.

  5. Tenneil says:

Flowers are the way to mine also and my Cowboy finally has that figured out. I would love to sit down to dinner and get to know you more, but instead I will just add you on Google 🙂

    • Everyday Living says:

Valerie, I am so sorry I missed your comment last week! Thanks for your always sweet and encouraging words! Tablescaping is so much fun!

    • Everyday Living says:

Carol, I agree with your chef husband! But we ladies do like color and pattern, but if he is cooking let him serve on whatever he likes! You got a good thing going!

  6. Stacey says:

This is amazingly beautiful! I have a love affair with the blue Ball jars but when you add the blue drinking glasses along with your china, it just couldn’t be prettier.

We love your comments!
