“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
Psalms 46:10
The past few days have been picture perfect! The beautiful blue skies, the beyond blissful temps and the most vibrant flowers have given me Spring Fever! You all know that I am outside any chance I get…especially when it comes to tablescapes! If you saw my post yesterday, you know I am in a brunch state of mind, so I thought what better way to have brunch than in the garden?! (And I wanted to use my new tablecloth that announces that spring is here!)
Please join us, and sit for a while!
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome”
Anne Bradstreet
The garden has come to life after winter, so I wanted a colorful and happy table setting!
Are you convinced how much I love color?
*
The background of green foliage makes all the colors pop!
*
I cut the coral azaleas from my Daddy’s yard…love its beautiful and vibrant color!
I mixed up the dinner plates using an orange and green for more color! The brilliant sunshine ligustrums can be seen in the garden! It is a showy shrub, not a typical green, but bright yellow-green!
*
With God’s creation as a backdrop, you could eat off plastic or paper and it would be pretty! If you do, it is ok…I won’t call the tablescape police!
…and clearing the table of everything except the mugs, we are able to enjoy our coffee, conversation, and God’s beauty!
I added a single snowball bloom with the coral azaleas!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold
in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11
Thank you all for joining me in the garden for brunch! I always love when you stop by!
