Simple + Southern Sunday No. 81

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you”
Exodus 20:12

SSS (1)
“O the Lord our strength and song, highest praise to Him belongs.  Christ the Lord, the conquering King, Your name we raise, Your triumphs sing!  Praise the Lord our Mighty Warrior, praise the Lord, the Glorious One.  By His hand we stand in victory, by His name we overcome!”
Aaron Keyes

Sweet memories of my Mother today and every day!
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:28-30‬ ‭

“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved”
Acts 2:42-47

These roses almost look as if they are growing wild through the white fence!

Beautiful jazz mural on a wall in our downtown!

Talk about simple and southern!

I think Mary Collins enjoyed her afternoon in the strawberry patch!

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork”
Psalm 19:1

These ladies didn’t like having their photo taken!

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life”
John 12:24-25

Mary Grace, Elsie, and Virginia planned the sweetest picnic for their mom for Mother’s Day!  Such a precious memory to look back on!

Quite possibly the best dish I have ever had…red snapper with morels, crawfish butter, bulb onion, and sweet pea puree´, at my favorite place…Highlands Bar & Grill!

Honeysuckle is in the air…the sweet smell of spring!

“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!”
Psalm 122:1

How is it that you touched the most tender part of my heart with each and every photo? The sweetiest most precious parts of our lives begin with JESUS and his church, our mothers, the precious children, sweet strawberries, simple pleasures and Gods gift of delicious food. We are indeed blessed.

The photo of you and your mom is very endearing, I love it. All photos are very nice and watch for the photo of girls at the picnic that summer is already there … Here still we dress almost winter. Majadahonda is at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama in the Central Massif and still not rise more than 13 to 14 ° C.
