“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.”
Romans 12:16
Ready or not, here comes autumn…and I’m in the spirit of the season! So far, you’ve seen my kitchen vignette and my foyer, and today, I am taking my favorite season to my favorite spot…the garden! There are countless things I love about this time of year, with the shorter days that seem to invite rest being one of them! Come have a seat and enjoy this early autumn evening with us!
The only new items purchased for this setting are the pumpkins…don’t we love all things pumpkin?
The tablecloth is vintage and was a gift. Faux leather chargers, pumpkin colored dinner plates, and leaf plates in different colors complete the dish stack.
I used stemware that I purchased several years ago at Tuesday Morning…I love the citrine, amethyst, and peridot colors for autumn.
The faux tortoise flatware from Horchow is a favorite for fall table settings…leaf-patterned napkins gathered with citrine colored rings.
The pair of antler candle stands are part of a set that I bought at TJ Maxx several years ago…they work well in aumtumnscapes!

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11
Our ornamental grasses provide so much texture for a background to the table!
The gold lantana is being trimmed constantly, it has flourished during this hot and dry summer.
Finally, the patio pergola is finished…just a little peek! It turned out exactly as I had envisioned, now to get it fall ready. Hopefully I can complete the decorating and show it to you all soon!

Ooh, I love what I see so far! I can hardly wait for your pergola reveal! Your table is wonderful, too. I love that you chose a pumpkin with tones of green, which enhances the green tones in your scape. You know I love fall, and all these fall table details are wonderful! Yes, the ornamental grass makes it feel very much like fall, even though we still have so much green. How I wish you lived next door! 🙂
Kim, I wish we lived we lived next door…we could have lots of fun! Happy Weekend!
I am smitten with this fall tablescape. It has so many subtle understated but diverse elements that express texture, color, variety, repetition and several focal points. The grasses provide a rich backdrop perfect for fall and your centerpiece repents the round shape of the table and plates with lovely color too. I am so into natural decorations.
Thanks sweet Bonnie, wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Pam, your Fall tablescape is gorgeous. The vintage tablecloth is beautiful, and I love all of the pretty details on the table. I’m anxious to see your pergola. We are wanting to build one, and yours looks beautiful! I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
Thanks so much, Shannon. I hope to dress the pergola for fall soon! Happy weekend
Really nice table, Pam. I absolutely love those glasses! The flatware is gorgeous too. Happy Fall!
Thanks so much, Rita and Happy Fall!
The Garden is the perfect setting when it is your garden. Such beautiful garden you have. That is where I would be all the time with my tea! Can’t wait to see the Pergola setting. Sneak peek looks awesome! To me Pergolas make a garden beautiful. I want more Pergolas but don’t have enough garden for more.
Thanks so much, Nancy! I haven’t had time to dress the pergola for autumn, hopefully soon! Have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful tablescape and gorgeous pictures. Happy nearly fall!
Love partying with you, thanks so much!
You are a tease Pam, we all can’t wait to see the pergola!! Your garden pumpkin table is just perfect, the antler candlesticks are a wonderful touch! I bought some pumpkins yesterday and already plan to go back for more 😉 The setting with the grasses in the background is simply stunning! Now, if we could just turn down the temperature a notch! Looking forward to the hop next week!
Jenna
Jenna, I hope to show the pergola soon, but I haven’t had time to get it fall ready.
Your table is lovely. So so beautiful.
Thank you, Janet. Hopefully our temps will cool off!
As always Pam, your tablescape is beautiful. Love the deer antlers! I have a lot of antlers hanging on a wall outside where we cook. I need to grab some and see if I can make a candle holder. I love all the colors. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Aw, Cindy did you get those antlers by bagging a deer? Thanks so much and Happy Fall!
I actually used a pair in a wreath I made last year. All the antlers we have are deer we have harvested, either me or my husband, And of course we have some mounters on the wall! LOL!
stunning!!! I just want to visit and never leave.
Thanks, Leslie. Come on over!
Pam I love the simplistic beauty of this table. The stacked pumpkins, the leaf plates, and the stemware! I am hosting a craft dinner here in Nov. I just picked up 8 of those pumpkin colored plates at our local thrift for $1 ea. I have leaf plates I bought one year from pb after Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
Jann, will be looking forward to seeing that craft dinner!
Pam, the table is stunning! Love your styling ♥
