“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”
John 3:16
Christmas is a time of joy, celebration, and for me, it is a time to pull out my many collections! As I said yesterday, my Christmas style is comprised of years and years of buying pieces to add and sweet friends & family helping me along the way! I treasure each and every one because they each remind me of a story of that special person or place connected to it! And today, I am going to give you a little glimpse into two of those stories!
The four Fitz and Floyd Santa Clauses that make up our centerpiece are gifts from my Sunday School classes from years past. Many ladies have been a part of classes that I have taught through the years and each one is so very special to me! Each year as I unpack the collection, I am reminded of the faces that came together each Sunday as we shared our hearts, our concerns, and our laughter. The center Santa cookie jar, although not F&F, is still a very much treasured keepsake! The deer place card holders are so special because our sweet chosen daughter, Katy gave those to me a couple of years ago. They are ceramic ornaments that she found at Lowe’s and she embellished them by painting the antlers gold. She has given so much of herself to our family and we are grateful that God placed her into our lives four years ago.
Something about this season just sparks a wonder in me…a wonder that no other season quite can. And I hope it does for you, too! For me, it’s the collections and the memories attached to this most wonderful time of the year. Maybe for you, it’s seeing it through the eyes of a child as they hear the Christmas story for the first time. Or maybe it’s the memory of writing your letter to Santa, hoping it gets to the North Pole on time. Pull up a seat at our table, there is room for you! I hope you find yourself in wonder and awe this Christmas season!

Three of the Fitz and Floyd Santas are pitchers…
The Noritake “Reverie” stemware is my wedding crystal…still surviving after all these years!
*
Butch got creative and added five little birds to the chandy!

*
The center Santa Claus riding in his sleigh full of toys was a find at Dillard’s many years ago!
*
The china is also Fitz and Floyd and the pattern for the dinner plates is “Winter Holiday. The salad plates are “Winter Holiday Rose Wreath”.
Fresh cedar and a few ornaments round out the center of the table.

Pretty, Pam! I didn’t realize Reverie had stemware to coordinate with the china! That’s really pretty. Love what Butch did to the chandy with the birds – cute!

Love your china and crystal and F&F Santa’s. Live cedar is so festive. Enjoy your memories of your special collections and thanks for sharing with us.
I am on my way to Montevallo to visit the American Village with a van load of girlfriends. My jaws will be sore from talk and laughter.
We got a lot of rain. So thankful. Hope you did also.

Oh Bonnie I hope you had loads of fun today with your friends! We got lots of slow steady rain, just what we needed!

Pam, that’s a brilliant idea I might have to borrow — using your cookie jars, etc. for the centerpiece! I have more than my space allows but if I can repurpose that way, all the better! I did convert a teapot to a vase after it’s lid broke! Santa with pine coming out the top!
Every bit of your table is exquisite. Bravo. Is my invitation in the mail?!

Pam, I’m looking back at this beautiful table as I begin plans for a Dec. 7th dinner party here. I have the white reindeer as well. I’ve used them as place card holders and then sent the home as party favors. I purchased enough to save a set for myself. I just may paint the antlers gold.
Thanks for the inspiration. Your F&F collection is fabulous.
