“How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.”
You know, there are some things that can be outdated in our ever-changing world of decorating….but some things just do not fall into that category. Blue and white have been a mainstay and a staple for as long as I can remember! I collected the iconic Johnson Brothers “Willow” pattern at least 38 years ago. It remains one of my favorites…and I dare to say, a favorite of most of us in the blog world! There is just something about a blue and white tablesetting that is always pleasing to my eye!
“Flowers and food look fabulous on tables decorated with blue and white. The endless assortment of dishes, glassware, and linens available in this bold combination enables the hostess to create beautiful tables for every season, occasion, and budget.”
I decided on a table for four, I find it cozy for winter.
The centerpiece is a bouquet of fresh baby’s breath, not my first choice, but the grocery store apparently had a run on white flowers. But, I do love the ethereal quality that it brings to a tablescape!
I am excited to invite you all to a Blog Hop that I will be participating in next week! It will be a week full of inspiration and romance for Valentine’s Day! Please join me next Monday, January 23 as I share my table for two and help kick the week off!
Thanks for your visits, sweet friends…as always, I love your comments!
