“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths…
“Hope be my anthem, Lord when the world has fallen quiet.
You stand beside me, give me a song in the night.
Jesus I need You, every moment I need You! Hear now this grace bought heart sing out Your praise forever”

for you I wait all the day long”

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a walk on our new riverwalk!
Beautiful homes line the street in our historic downtown area!
Our city’s water wall and blue skies!
Grey borrowed his sister’s jeep and he doesn’t even care that it’s pink…he’s just happy to be driving!
Hamburger Fonfon with comte, pomme frites, mushrooms, and shallots…rated the best burger in Alabama!
Now, this is about as simple and southern as it gets!
As the sun sets on another day, we are reminded of God’s grace and mercy…and we are so thankful!

The new boardwalk is wonderful! I so enjoyed walking around your town with you and seeing more quaint-ness. It was nice to see the sunshine this weekend, wasn’t it? I hope you have sunny skies again today! 🙂

Thanks, Kim…it rained all day yesterday. But I am not complaining, it is so good to have rain, we were so drought stricken!

Dolores
Dear friend, post Sunday have a very special attraction, as special is the day. Each Sunday is a message worthy of meditation throughout the week: The visit to the house of the Lord, the gift of God dawning a new day with a wonderful nature, the symbol of unity of families, children, will there be greater Gift of God ?, and not forgetting the physical food we all need every day “our daily bread” that Jesus taught us to pray …
All a luxury of reasons to love God as He loves us.
Have a great day
Dolores

Dearest Dolores, thank you for always paying attention to each photo! We love to let our eyes see the beauty in God’s creation that surrounds us every day, yet so many miss it because they simply are not looking! Wishing you a week of blessings, Pam

Lovely walk and that food…that FOOD! Yes, I’m hungry. Your post reminds me of the old hymn
Jesus how I need thee, every hour I need thee…God has a plan.
