“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
Romans 15:13
Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! You may remember me saying that we had an early start to spring here in the Appalachian Foothills, but the next thing we knew, the temps plummeted from mid 70’s to the teens! I wasn’t sure if the cold snap and frosty mornings would allow much color this season, but I think we are in full swing with spring! You may wonder why I sound so confident? One word: POLLEN. The pesky yellow stuff is blanketing any and everything, but this asthma and allergy sufferer will survive and I will enjoy this beautiful time of year! With our garden just now waking up from its winter sleep, there’s not much blooming, but Trader Joe’s always has plenty of flowers to choose from! Last week, I brought home a bouquet of tulips and added a few blooms from our snowball bush to bring you this week’s tablescape. Pull up a seat and enjoy the bouquets of spring!
I started with an ironstone pitcher holding a bouquet of tulips…
…and added individual bouquets of snowball buds at each of the place settings!
You’ve seen my peridot, amethyst, and citrine colored stemware from Tuesday Morning on many of my tables!

I love using what I’ve had for years! Bordallo Pinheiro salad plates are sandwiched between American Atelier dinner plate and cup in the “Baroque” pattern!
The sweet bunny was made by Mother long ago…so very special to me!
A burlap runner provides texture for the setting!
A green and white polka dot platter holds the tulips, sweet rabbit, and a tiny bird nest!
Whimsy is provided by a pair of tole flower stands.
Aren’t these seed balls interesting? I love what they bring to the table!
My sweet hubby was telling me about the tiny nest he had discovered in one of our patio peach trees that survived from last spring. I’m always looking for new things for tablescapes, so I brought it in and let it be a part of this week’s Tablescape Tuesday with a faux egg. Notice it’s under a cloche so the little rabbit couldn’t get to it!

Proverbs 25:11

I love the softness of your table, Pam. The tulips are the perfect focal point. The snowball bush seed heads are a nice repeat for the seed balls – love how you featured them in a cup and saucer. It’s all perfectly lovely! Happy Tuesday, my friend!

Kim, I am so happy that our snowball bushes are loaded with blooms, I thought certainly three frosts two weeks ago would damage the blooms! Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!

What a beautiful tablescape! The ironstone pitcher with the tulips is just gorgeous. I was at Trader Joe’s this weekend buying flowers for my house. They have the best prices and selection. I love the tole flower stands. What a lovely accent on your pretty table. The snowball bush blooms are the perfect finishing touch to your place settings. Everything looks so pretty! Enjoy your Tuesday, sweet friend!

Another masterpiece!!!….oh what you we do without Trader Joe’s!….One thing I do not like about Spring is the pollen…but will deal with it as it is so necessary for flower/plant life…so we deal with the yellow stuff and then find great beauty in the aftermath of it!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much, Shirley. We had lots of rain yesterday, so that will temporarily help with the pollen!
