“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me…
John 14:1
…In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?…
John 14:2
…And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
John 14:3
Dogwoods are blooming in our little neck of the woods!
Did you know that the Cedar Waxwing eats berries and sugary fruits year-round? Sometimes they eat overripe fruit that has begun to ferment, intoxicating them! Fun fact for the day!
Can you tell how much Bex is loving his first birthday cake? Isn’t he a handsome little guy?!
As the snowball bush begins to bloom, it is bright green…
…but within a couple of days, the blooms turn snowy white!
A delicious springtime dish – Spaghetti Primavera with asparagus, peas, onions, pancetta, and parmigiana…fresh spring flavors in a bowl!
Beautiful homes line our historic district!
The Lady Banks Rose on our trellis was affected by the frost…not as many blooms as normal!
“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!””
Psalms 122:1

Alice, thanks so much and I agree a cake to eat would be nice!
I can hardly believe it’s April already. But, snowball blooms prove it, right? Beautiful pictures, as always. So much beauty is around us when we stop to look. I wish you Sunday blessings, Pam!!
Thanks so much, my friend! Happy Tuesday!
Hi Pam, the white dogwoods are just glorious in Charlotte now, too! Love your snowball bush – reminds me of one at my Grandmother ‘s house many years ago. I never realized that they were green before turning white. Learned something new while enjoying your lovely photos. Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Blessings, Janet
Janet, thanks so much! The dogwoods are a beautiful Southern tree for sure! Happy Tuesday!
As we are driving home today from Texas it was lovely to view your post this morning. The dogwoods are so beautiful with the scripture promises from John.
Gorgeous snowball. I’m envious and wish I had one to cut and arrange.
It’s been a very full week visiting son’s family and I’ve missed some of your posts. Hope to catch up later. It is a beautiful day to drive and enjoy the newly leaved out green trees and sunshine.
Bonnie, I know you enjoyed being with your sweet family in Texas. Happy Tuesday!
Oh that little boy and his cake! Cutest ever! Love snowball trees, gorgeous!
Thanks so much, Jenna!
Bex is so cute eating his birthday cake!! YUM….all by myself!! Our Dogwoods and azaleas are blooming here in Wilson, NC. I wished they bloomed all summer because they are beautiful. Enjoyed the scripture reads also. Have a Great Week
Thanks Nancy. I had friends that lived in Wilson for several years and I visited several times, loved the antique shopping there!
What a delightful blog post. Thank you for the beautiful photos that accompany the timely scripture. And that little man is just a doll. And how in the world did you get such an amazing shot of the bird.
Thanks Libby! Happy Tuesday!
Buena semana, amiga querida
Dolores
¡Dolores, sé que has disfrutado mucho a tus nietos! Gracias por visitarme, siempre tengo ganas de tener noticias de usted! Bendiciones, Pam
Dolores, I know you have enjoyed your grandchildren so much! Thanks for visiting with me, I always look forward to hearing from you! Blessings, Pam
Oh Pam, I don’t know what I love most here — that fabulous church window (ah! Blue!) or that sweet little munchkin devouring cake! This and all else — fabulous!
