If you’ve been around our little corner of the blog world for long, you know that we love to make trips to Birmingham to eat at our favorite Italian cafe. Last Friday was a beautiful evening for dining alfresco, so we drove the 60 miles for a nice little evening out! Of course, a trip to the “big city” always means a stop at Whole Foods…and I am always pulled towards their great selection of fresh flowers! When I walked in, it didn’t take long before I heard some beautiful white peonies calling my name! They had to make an appearance on this week’s table in the garden! Late Saturday afternoon became cloudy and breezy…the perfect set up for tablescaping in my favorite spot! My vintage Johnson Bros “rose chintz” salad plates paired with these gorgeous white flowers are all it took for this classic table setting! Join us for dinner in the garden…today’s tablescape is brought to you by peonies and chintz!

Thank you so much, Martha. Zoysia grass is planted and it is a battle to keep it maintained. My sweet hubby loves to work outside on Saturday and between the two of us, we try to keep everything in order?
