“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
Proverbs 15:1
Is there anything more relaxing than a Sunday evening? It’s a time to rest and clear your head before the hustle and bustle of Monday barges in! My favorite Sunday afternoons and evenings are spent in….you guessed it – my garden! After a busy day filled with teaching small group and playing keyboard at my church, sharing lunch with my family, I look forward to time outside relaxing if the weather permits! This past Sunday was a little on the warm side, but not too hot for a Sunday Evening In The Garden! You are invited to join me at my table for four!
With hydrangeas in bloom, they are likely to be the star of a tablescape!
The table was kept simple…the sun shining on the plumes of the Adagio Maiden Grass provided a stunning background!
The crocheted napkin rings are a treasure from a precious friend that we affectionately called Aunt Ruby. She didn’t have children of her own, but her sweet Godly character influenced so many during her lifetime.
The floral tablecloth is perfect for a garden setting and it holds sweet memories that I shared here.
Woven placemats add texture as they are joined by white dinner plates and Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage salad plates.
My hydrangeas have a wide range of color…love this one!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11*
