“Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming…
...and the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!”
The Coosa River runs through the middle of our city…so many places to just sit and enjoy the view!
A view from the rear of our garden with the limelight hydrangeas in full bloom!
We have had lots of rain this week…I took this shot between showers!
Our sweet girl is “tutu” cute!
What a delicious meal of seared scallops with field peas, corn, okra, and crab brodo…summer goodness!
There is just something interesting about ruins…St. Karin ruins in Visby, Sweden. Founded by Franciscans in 1233, construction extended in the early 14th century. We enjoyed walking beneath the arches of this medieval church.
My star spangled evening tablescape is seen from behind the adagio maiden grasses!
A gorgeous day on Lake Guntersville!
“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!”
Psalms 122:1

Our rains sure make everything lush and beautiful. The Lord is the best gardener of all! Beautiful pictures, once again. My favorite – you guessed it – adorable Ella Mae. Her serious expressions crack me up – a deep thinker at such a young age! Hope you have a joy-filled day!
