The Coosa River runs through the middle of our city…so many places to just sit and enjoy the view!

We have had lots of rain this week…I took this shot between showers!

 Our sweet girl is “tutu” cute!  

  What a delicious meal of seared scallops with field peas, corn, okra, and crab brodo…summer goodness!

 There is just something interesting about ruins…St. Karin ruins in Visby, Sweden.  Founded by Franciscans in 1233, construction extended in the early 14th century.  We enjoyed walking beneath the arches of this medieval church.

  9. Hi – photos are beautiful, but am a little confused……..can find nothing on Visby in Scotland. Only Visby I found was in Sweden.

    • Margaret, thank you. We have been to both Scotland and Sweden…my mistake. Yes Visby is on the island of Gotland in Sweden. I don’t know how that got by me! Visby is beautiful! Happy 4th!
