“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Philippians 4:13
Happy Thursday, sweet friends! It’s almost the weekend…and for us here in the Deep South, that means cooler temps are coming our way! Can I get an amen?! Regardless of what the thermometer said, this past week we decided that it was time to get our fall on outside! My Renaissance Man decided he would round up the pumpkins and the mums and let me tell you…he did just that. His candy apple red pick-up truck was loaded with pumpkins, mums, corn stalks, and hay bales! It was like a fall party on wheels when he got home! Now I will let you in on a little secret…Butch never does anything in a small way…he goes all out! I am beyond grateful that he always makes sure we are well provided for…even when it comes to fall decor! Today you will get a small glimpse into what I am talking about, because we have enough pumpkins for our very own patch!! Join us for our pumpkin party on the patio…you can even choose one to take home with you!
I photographed the patio at two different times of day. The first eight photos were taken in the early evening with no sunlight!
There are endless choices for stacking pumpkins like using an old churn!
Left-over sections of picket fencing were used to soften the display!
The remainder of the photos were captured at first light as the sun was rising over our pasture!
A small wooden wagon filled with pumpkins was placed on the patio dining table!
A pretty glow casts its light and shadows!
I had the prettiest little pumpkin in the patch to help me decorate…she said pumpkins are serious business! How do you decorate your porch, patio, or deck for autumn?

I am a pumpkin lover! Your pumpkins are perfect! My favorite photo besides your precious granddaughter is the one of your table with your garden in the background. Beautiful picture. It could be in a magazine!
Thanks so much Karen! You are so sweet to comment!
Hands down, the picture of Ella Mae sitting on that bale of hay holding that pumpkin is the winner. I had to smile because she said pumpkins are serious business. They figure us out real quick. Your decorating is so inviting. Your friends and family are going to enjoy all the beauty you have created. I am so glad we have husbands who love what we do and assist us in every way possible. You all have really got it going on there! Thank you for this morning of pure joy!
Thank you Dianne! We are both blessed with husbands that help us for sure. I couldn’t do it without Butch! I love your visits and visiting with you! Hugs~
Stunning pictures but Ella Mae’s photo is the best one!Made my day!Hugs!
Beautiful, Pam. Gorgeous photos in the early morning light.
Thank you Carole!
OMG Pam, if my husband ever brought home such bounty I would faint!! Everything looks gorgeous, magazine worthy!! The photo of the sunlight on the wheel barrow in your garden is breathtaking! Ella Mae is getting sooo big~ adorable!
Jenna
Jenna, thank you! I love keeping her, she comes to my house and we do a lot of playing!
Pumpkins, hay bales, chrysanthemums….you’ve got it all for a great fall look that will last through the season.
Linda, hopefully it will last if we get cooler weather!
Pam, what gorgeous pictures! Everything looks just beautiful! We love pumpkins, too. We are going this weekend to get ours. Miss Ella Mae is a doll! She looks just precious holding that little pumpkin. Happy fall, sweet friend!!!
Thank you sweet friend. We love the time we spend with our girl!
Serious business, for sure! I love your fall collection – so colorful and pretty. I’m with you on the ending of hot weather. Bring on the cool! (85 degrees isn’t exactly cool, but it’s relative.) Happy fall Thursday! 🙂
Kim, today was nice with a good breeze all day, the nights and early mornings feel like fall at least!
You go Butch! Would love to have seen him getting home in his candy Apple red pickup loaded down with the Fall goodies. What do you do with all of the pumpkins after Fall decorations?I love pumpkins so much that it hurts my heart to discard them so we bake them nd eat pumpkin everything. Some go out for the birds and squirrels but mostly they go in my stomach. You have become a most delightful photographer. Beautiful evening photos.
Thank you so much, Alice! I love pumpkin everything, but Butch doesn’t like pumpkin! I use some and some I give away! I would share if you lived a little closer!
Absolutely wonderful, Pam. You have certainly created a beautiful welcome to the glorious season of autumn. However, I will tell you, precious Ella Mae once again steals the show.
Have a beautiful day and weekend !
Thank you Sandra! We are enjoying every minute with our princess!
Wow, Butch is amazing! Your porch looks fabulous and is getting me in the mood. I haven’t done any outside decorating yet. Hoping to purchase some pumpkins at my daughter’s.
Ella Mae is adorable. Would love to give her a hug.
Thank you Bonnie, I know you will enjoy being with your daughter and family!
The left over fence section is perfectly charming! I haven’t started to fall-up yet, but this gives me motivation!
That was Butch’s idea and I love it!
Loving all of your pumpkins but that one little blonde pumpkin is the cutest! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
I can help but agree! Blessings~
Love the morning light and all the decor, Pam, but that Ella just keeps getting more beautiful. She seems so pensive! All that said, I’ve gotten too OCD to let myself deal with the hay bales – too much cleanup! I hope you have a protective porch are where those are situated!
Thanks Rita! Ella Mae is funny and serious! She is such a joy for me to keep three days a week
Both in the light of the afternoon and in the sun, the photos are magnificent because you have made some really artistic compositions with pumpkins of different colors. His staging is magnificent, I would not know which one I like the most.
Evidently the protagonist is Ella Mae, so absorbed in watching the little pumpkin of intense color, it is precious.
A success, your photos a hug
Dolores
Ella me da gran alegría … Abrazos, Pam
What a lovely and colorful display. Ella Mae is adorable.
Marilyn
Marilyn, thank you…we are so happy to be grandparents!
WOW! What a lovely collection of pumpkins. You did a great job. Ella Mae is a beauty.
Marion
Thank you so much, Marion!
This is so fabulous I can’t believe it! All I can say is “Go, Butch!” Oh, how lucky you are he did a lot of the heavy lifting and you got to do the heavy duty designing — fabulously, I might add!
Thanks so much, Jeanie! Butch is so much help in all I try to accomplish for the blog!
Pam, I can only enjoy pumpkins & the fall vicariously through your gorgeous pictures.
Just today, on my way home, the temperature registered 98 on my car! How can I get into Fall!!!
Your pictures are inspiring, and touch is so creative!
Thank you again!
Esther, I hope you are getting back into some normalcy and your daughter and family! Blessings my friend! Love and hugs~
Your patio looks beautiful! I love the colors.
Thank you so much!
My dear Pam, your entryway took my breath away! What wondrous autumn beauty!
Thinking of you and wishing you a lovely weekend. Hugs!
Thank you sweet Stephanie! Blessings sweet lady!
How adorable! and the decorating isn’t bad either 😉 Sharing this on my FB page. Have a great week!
Thanks Christine!
I just love your fall decor and all the little vignettes. Butch did a good job picking all the stuff out and you did a great job behind the camera. I do love decorating for fall!
Thanks so much Joanna! Have a great week!
So pretty and the perfect harvest! Love the “warty” pumpkin best. Very welcoming!! Visiting from Reader Tip party.

Thank you Jann! Happy Wednesday!
Butch is definitely a keeper!!! I am like him and like LOTS of pumpkins and mums but get a little “look” from my hubby and the question,”do you really need more pumpkins”? I LOVE your little wagon on the table. Can you tell me where you got the baskets that the mums are in? Everything is just beautiful!!!
Pinky, the mums came in the baskets, I love that so I don’t have to find containers for them!
Love the pumpkins … especially the littlest human one!
Thank you Snap!
