“But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ…
…Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ…
…and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—
…that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,…
…that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.”
Philippians 3:7-11
I know Christmas has passed, but I missed showing you our little sweetheart in her dress! I love the embroidered nativity.
Winter reveals its presence on our landscape…
…with the cold temperatures, a cappuccino is the perfect warmth!
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8

Needless to say, today the protagonist is this little princess and her original dress.
She is very old, and the pricesita is very beautiful … what tenderness!
Today in the serenity of my house I have time to attend to the things that I like and one of them are your posts, there is always something in the soul.
Today is a sunny and cold day, yesterday a snowing day … I also love winter.
Dolores
Muchas gracias, Dolores! Estamos teniendo un enero frío hasta ahora. Como eres abuela, ¡entiendes el amor que siento por mi ángel! Te deseo una semana maravillosa y mantente calientito, amigo
Today as I sit in a hospital room with my Dad, who is 98, these verses give me such comfort. Dad, who has served God faithfully from a young man, may soon get to attain that resurrection and see his Savior. I always enjoy your posts. Thank you for sharing.

Shirley, may you find comfort in God’s word! What a legacy of faithful service that your Dad will leave. Prayers and hugs and that you will know the ‘peace that passes all understanding”.❤️
Very peaceful!
Alice, wishing you a joy-filled day!

It was just wonderful to meet you and your husband today. When someone shares so much of their life, you really do feel as though you know them. You both are so talented in so many ways. My husband and I have been married fifty-five years this month and have two sons and five grandchildren, so I can certainly relate to your life as grandparents…It certainly is grand. I just look so forward to your photos and beautiful tablescapes, and it is especially refreshing to see how you incorporate God’s word in everything you share. Again, it was so nice to meet you today, and I wish you all the very best for the new year. Betty Phillips
