“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me…
In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?…
…And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
John 14:1-3
Three days each week, I have the pleasure of having lunch with my sweet girl…
No matter the season, there is always work to be done!
As I looked through travel photos this week, I discovered this interesting pic….street performers in Edinburgh, Scotland!
I imagine this barn could tell a few stories!
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8

Dear Pam, I fell in love with the old barn. Age gives wisdom and if you have a good memory you can tell many interesting things.
Your husband is a tireless worker, I admire him!
I love to see the seasonal differences in your garden, how beautiful the beige lawn too !!
… And what can you say about your beautiful granddaughter … You have the privilege of having her at home several days a week, surely they are delicious.
I wish you a good Sunday day.
Dolores
Feliz domingo, querida Dolores. ¡El viejo establo tiene muchos años de seguro! Mi esposo es un hombre trabajador. Él nunca está inactivo. ¡Disfruto tantos momentos dulces con Ella Mae! ¡Mucho amor para ti!
The Cardinals and Ella Mae and the old red barn. Nice!
Alice, thank you. Part 2 of our story will be on the blog tomorrow! Blessings~
I adore the Cardinals in the bare tree. So pretty.
Ella Mae is all sweetness. I remember the Berenstein Bear books. Our kids loved them and our grand kids, do too.
I took a picture of one of the stained glass windows in our church recently.
As always, a good Simple +Southern Sunday post.
Thank you so much Bonnie, Happy Sunday my friend!
Pam: Such a lovely post. I am sure the old barn could tell many stories. It has stored feed, sheltered animals and perhaps people during its life. I always wonder about the people who built such wonderful old structures and what their lives were about.
All the photos are wonderful, but Ella Mae is always my favorite. She is so sweet.
Thank you for bringing joy to our day. Blessings to you and yours.
Sandra, thank you for your sweet and encouraging comments. Wishing you a joy-filled week!
Thank you for this wonderful Sunday inspiration, Pam. As always, your photos are a feast for the eyes. Enjoy your week.
Thank you Katie, have a wonder-filled week!
Hi Pam! The Sundays became more especial with your posts…How beautiful and sweet!Have a lovely and blessed day!Hugs!
Thank you dearest Maristella!
Hi Pam, what wonderful peace and hope the verses bring to us! Love the cardinals.
Thank you Bonnie. Blessings~
I found myself searching for a blog that would both encourage and bless me. I honestly believe that God sent your blog my way. My husband grew up in Cedartown, GA., his mother is from Cave Spring, GA (originally from Rock Run, Alabama, and his dad used to fish at Lake Weiss regularly. In addition, all of our family attends church on Sundays. My niece hashtags Sunday in the South! So, your blog has reaffirmed that Everyday Living is worthwhile as we all appreciate what the Lord has done. I love that you use verses every single Sunday. Thank you.
Bonnie, your comments are so encouraging. Thank you for sharing them. Those places you mentioned are so close to my home, so we have a connection! My prayer is that my blog will encourage you that God is faithful and true! Have a wonderful week!
Your camera always seems to be in just the right place at just the right time! (Love the Richard Scarrey book!)
Thank you Michele!
Pam, what a beautiful Sunday post..the barn, the cardinals, fresh mowed hay, and the beautiful Ella Mae and her books. You inspire us with your pics and words and the beautiful scripture. You give much joy to this girl in Asheville.
Thank you Dianne, sweet friend!
Always enjoy seeing your beautiful pics and I am sure that barn could tell some awesome stories. Those street performers, so interesting. Happy week!
Thank you Lea! Happy week to you also!
Love the barn, and the stained glass window especially!
Thank you Jenna!
That cardinal pushes all the right buttons for me! It’s all lovely but that one makes my heart sing!
Thank you dear Jeanie!
Lovely collection of photos, and those street performers, how in the heck?
Thank you Sandi!
Couldn’t resist a post, at Kathryn’s linkup, called Simple Southern Sunday – guess my Southern half (on my Daddy’s side) is coming out this week! I love old barns, especially old red barns. And I always hope someone will rescue them before they fall down.
Thank you so much for your visit, Jean! Old red barns always catch my eye!
Cardinals are my favorite bird and they always bring a smile to my face. The street performers in Scotland are amazing. I’d love to have that kind of agility. Happy Wednesday and thanks for sharing this at Celebrate Your Story.
Thank you Sandra!
Pam, spending time with your little sweets is the best! Those street performers are amazing, and oh how I love that barn! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Jann
