“For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb...
…I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.”
Psalms 139:13-14
Our Dwarf Patio Peaches are early bloomers…
…our mature trees are only about 4 feet tall!
The trees do produce a lot of small peaches that are mainly “deer food” !
Yoshino Cherries are fairly early bloomers also!
The Chinese Snowball Bush is a prolific bloomer but may get hit with a frost next week.
Some of the blooms are popping out already and will hopefully survive the upcoming cold weather later this week!
The Bradford Pear is still popular and pretty although not planted in a lot of places now because they have gone rogue, reproducing an invasive thorny variety!
The Japanese Magnolia is one of the first out of the chute when a few nice late February days arrive.
We never tire of old sheds and barns !
Beautiful late winter day for a hike and this looks like a great place to start!

Happy Sunday, Pam and Butch! You captured early Spring in the South beautifully. Awoke to 22 the other morning, so my fingers are crossed for my Snowball viburnum and the hydrangeas that have budded out. Is that the Episcopal church in Highlands?
Beautiful, Pam! Our snowball trees are about to bloom, and I love them so!
Thank you, Patti. We are forecast to have 3 nights in the 20’s this week. Hopefully the frost won’t ruin the blooms.
Thank you so much, Roxanne! That is the Episcopal church in Highlands. Hopefully our spring blooms will survive this week’s cold weather.
Lovely photos! Would the thorny pears be deer proof?
From Australia.
It is an ornamental tree and there is no fruit, but the deer love the peaches from our patio peach trees.
How do you keep the deer from munching on all your flowers?
It is hard for sure, we have an overpopulation or deer on our twenty acres that are surrounded by woods!
Yes I can see that would be a lot of work.
Oh, I hope your pretty blooming plants survive the cold temperatures. Gorgeous color.
Hopefully, but it is predicted for three nights to be freezing or below. That won’t be good!
Gorgeous blooms Pam! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my snowball viburnum buds survive the frosty weather that’s arriving later this week too!
Oh Mary, so am I. But, it doesn’t look favorable.
Such wonderful photos of glorious spring! A marvelous treat, as we have daffodils in bloom but no signs of spring bloom on the trees. Hope a freeze will not visit your area.
Wishing you and yours a beautiful and joy filled Sunday!
Thank you Sandra. The forecast doesn’t look great this week.
Stunning photos of your early bloomers. I love the old buildings with stories to tell of yesteryear. Concerned also about some of my delicate plants as they are already making an appearance. Happy Sunday wonderful friend.
Thank you Dianne. The weather forecast is calling for 3 nights of freezing or below.
Gorgeous blooms Pam! Fingers crossed the cold snap won’t ruin our early Spring flowers!
Jenna
I hope they will survive, Jenna!
Exceptionally beautiful photos. Glad you captured this beauty. I do hope the freeze does not do much damage. You know they spray water on the fruit trees in Florida before a freeze to protect them. I know it helps to hydrate plants before also.
Happy Sunday.
Bonnie, the freeze is predicted for three nights in a row. I am not very hopeful!
Oh, look at all those fabulous blossoms! What hope they bring on a cold but sunny day. Can spring be too far behind?
Thank you, Jeanie~
Beautiful blossoms and landscapes!Have a blessed Sunday!Hugs,Maristella.
Thank you my friend!
Isn’t it wonderful to watch all the changes occurring now? You have to enjoy them because they are gone in a flash.
So true, Linda.
Those spring blossoms are fantabulous! Loved seeing every single bloom!
Our spring in the desert is pretty slow in coming! Not enough rain… but we had an inch last night. That should make some flowers pop!!
Beautiful blooms, Pam!! You have all these beautiful flowering trees around at your home? You are so lucky!
Good morning sweet friend, yes we do have beautiful trees, but they will get frost on them with our freeze warning.
So beautiful. We are do for another foot of snow tomorrow, so your flowers are greatly appreciated.
Oh those flowering fruit trees are pretty. We are expecting a huge blizzard tonight. I am so longing for spring and warmer weather.
Great photos, Pam! The flowers are so beautiful, as are the barns. LOL! And yes, that bridge looks like it’s the perfect starting point for a lazy Sunday afternoon walk. Thanks for sharing the with the family over at imparting grace.
Thank you for visiting Tiffiney! I visited your lovely blog and left a comment. ❤️
