“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalms 91:1
Happy Tuesday dear friends! Lately, it seems that we are always talking about the weather. Checking my Instagram feed over the past few days, I see snow in different parts of the country. We were most fortunate Saturday morning to escape frost with the temperatures hovering near freezing ! I am sure when it is ninety-five degrees and ninety percent humidity, I will be wishing for cold weather.
With my Lady Banks Roses still in bloom, I set up a little table under the arbor and enjoyed some “me time”! If you missed last week’s Floral Friday, Under The Rose Arbor, you can check it out here. Espresso and biscotti, anyone??
The floral April Cornell tablecloth was the inspiration for my setting and was a recent TJ Maxx purchase.
Biscotti pairs beautifully with espresso! Of course home-made is the best, but I do enjoy DiBella. The Caramello Macchiato combines morsels of real caramel and white chocolate chips, making it one of my favorites!
A single Chinese snowball bloom placed in a sugar bowl was just right for my small table.
To keep me company, the latest issue of Victoria magazine was just waiting to be read!
The sun dappled setting was a quiet respite on a picture perfect spring morning!
Johnson Brothers “Willow” dinner plate with cup and saucer, “Spring Prelude” dessert/salad plate by Paula Deen, and a brightly checked napkin was all that was needed!
Most of you know that I love rich bold coffee, hence my love for an espresso. My Nespresso Pixie machine makes the best espresso. I always keep several sleeves of capsules on hand. My choice for my late breakfast was Caramelito. The sweet flavor of caramel softens the roasted notes of a blend of Arabicas from South and Central America. As you can see, I am serious about coffee! Caramel espresso and biscotti, what a lovely little breakfast!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11

Thank you so much, Rita!
What a lovely setting to enjoy some of your favorites! I love your Snowball in the sugar bowl.I don’t see that growing in Florida. Too hot or not cold enough? I so enjoy your outside pictures.
Thank you Nancy!
Ladies, our sweet Pam is being modest! While browsing my May/June Southern Lady magazine I stumbled upon one of Pam’s gorgeous table settings on p. 13!! Bravo Pam for catching their eye TWICE this year.
Roxanne, thanks my sweet friend! You are so encouraging!
What a marvelous place to linger in the morning light, surrounded by flowers! Beautiful table.

Absolutely perfect, Pam. I always enjoy the mornings the most in the garden, and your garden would certainly draw me to enjoy every drop of beauty you have created. It is wonderful that you take time to enjoy !

April Cornell is the best, isn’t she? I love this tablecloth! It’s fabulous, as is the place setting!
Oh, Pam! I was so excited when my newest edition of Southern Lady arrived yesterday. I was looking through it (great issue) and there was your tablescape! At which point, I exclaimed to Rick — “I know her!” Three cheers and good on you!

Thank you Shirley, today has been gorgeous!
Well, I see that you have prepared a very sophisticated and beautiful breakfast.
I do not know what to say about it, I like everything! (I say this phrase many times) but it is not a repetitive phrase because when I like something I like it a lot.
The place looks very relaxing, full of color and very elegant. These are important ingredients for a good breakfast in the garden. I congratulate you.
Dolores
Dolores, ¡qué placer sería compartir una conversación tomando café o té! Siempre eres tan alentador, dulce amigo. ¡Gracias por cada visita y por sus dulces comentarios!
Your April Cornell tablecloth is so pretty. I have a few of them that I got at TJ’s. I’m going to steal your idea and put a bloom in my sugar bowls. Don’t worry, I’ll give you all the credit. Your yard looks so pretty and I continue to be in awe of your photography. Enjoy your week, Pam.
Katie, you are too funny. I wish I could take credit for blooms in a sugar bowl. Thank you always for your visits!
Espresso and biscotti is a delicious combination, made even better enjoying it in this garden area. Lovely
Thank you Angie!
Breathtaking beauty! Elegant and relaxed. The table cloth is a find. Thank you for this springtime morning under your Lady Banks.
Thank you Dianne for your sweet comments.
Beautiful, Pam. I do love your tablecloth and under the arbor is a pleasant view with the Lady Banks blooming. I adore Victoria magazine. Along with Southern Lady they are my favorites now.
Your Biscotti and expresso looks good.
So glad the temps did not get to freezing. The pecan trees have leafed out so there should not be any more frost. Have yours leafed out?
Have a great week.
I love all of Hoffman Media’s publications, Bonnie. The pecan trees haven’t leafed, but maybe the threat of frost has passed us.
Pam, I just love your beautiful pictures. I would so like to join you in this sweet place to have fellowship with you. Long time back you just happened to be the one that inspired me to do an outside setting by my pond with a tablescape and enjoy just the simple pleasures of life that God has given us. I don’t get the change to do that often but when I do, I also think of your inspiration. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Cindy, wouldn’t we have fun chatting over coffee or tea? How sweet to share that with me. Hugs and blessings~
Hi Pam,
Your set up is absolutely stunning! 🙂 It looks like a lovely breakfast! 🙂

This is a definite, “Calgon take me away” place to chillax. Thanks for sharing at Celebrate Your Story and have a great weekend.
Thank you Sandra, Happy Weekend to you!
Oh, my goodness. I’m so glad I didn’t see this tablecloth, because it would have fallen into my cart for sure. It’s gorgeous! I hate to be boring but the only word that keeps coming to mind with this table is love. I love the setting, your beautiful centerpiece, the dishes . . . the biscotti! Yum! One of the things I love about traveling to Italy is how restaurants always bring you a few cookies whenever you order a coffee. It’s such a lovely touch. I used to subscribe to Victoria for years, then I stopped the subscription when I started working so many hours and barely had time to read. I’m still working a lot of hours, but perhaps it’s time to rediscover this delightful magazine.
