“Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,”
Psalms 17:8
Hello sweet friends! I can’t believe how quickly the days seem to pass, we just had Tablescape Tuesday and here we are again. Today I want to share an easy and simple table, using only what I had available. Every table setting doesn’t have to be elaborate to be pretty. You can set a lovely table for your family with very few elements and minimal time. Come on in for azalea and snowball blooms!
Pride of Mobile Azaleas and Chinese Snowballs were in full bloom when I cut these stems. But after a weekend of heavy rain, gusty winds, and a low temperature of 35 yesterday, they are now looking a little spent! As I am writing this, I just received a notification on my phone that we have a frost advisory for Tuesday AM. I never remember frost this late in NE AL!
The pretty Mary and Martha pitcher was a gift from my daughter-in-love for my birthday last year.
The pastel blue paisley tablecloth was in my linen stash. The charger and dinner plate are “Baroque” by American Atelier. It is a pattern that I use often. The secret to using the same elements over and over is to mix them with something different. I am always looking for a new way to use old things.
As you can see, the azaleas are quite large!
A few of you have asked what do I use to fertilize my snowball bushes. They have not been fertilized in several years…apparently they are happy where they were planted!
My sweet friend, Joann made these pretty napkin rings for me several years ago. I always enjoy using them!
Using what was blooming in my landscape, I simply placed the blooms in a pitcher. There wasn’t a design that I had in mind…they just sort of landed in the pitcher!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11

Thank you for your visits and sweet comments! What about you, do you find new ways to use old things?
My blogging friends and I will be sharing another edition of Floral Friday this week! You will definitely want to drop by for some flower therapy!

So pretty Pam and I love the simplicity and beauty of your garden bouquet of azaleas and snowball blooms! We’re having the same kind of spring. We had rain, hail, blustery winds, a tornado watch, freeze warnings and 80 degree temps all in one week…Mother Nature is schizophrenic. 🙂 See you Friday. ♥
Thank you Mary. We have frost this morning. I never remember a frost this late. Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday!
Pretty Tablescape Tuesday for you using what you have. Pride of Mobile is so pretty and I love it mixed with snowballs. Our azaleas are gone now and it is sad. Funny how my flowers are ahead of yours being further south. I have already pruned ours back. Your American Atelier is always striking and looks great with your paisley cloth and new pitcher.
We had cold and rain Sunday and it is still cold and windy this morning. I went to LaGrange and Newnan, Georgia, yesterday and it was very cold and strong winds that went right through a heavy jacket.
Enjoy your week.
Thanks so much Bonnie. We have frost this morning on the 17th day of April. I never remember frost this late. I at least got to enjoy the Lady Banks Roses and snowballs for a couple of weeks. Happy Tuesday!
Love your classic cream dishware, Pam, with garden blooms the focal point at center. No snowball bushes in bloom here, only snow flying yesterday! No azaleas either. Just as strange as fall lasting so late last year, this winter-like spring is getting just a little ridiculous now. Happy Tuesday.
Thank you Rita. It is unbelievable on the 17th day of April in AL that we have frost on the ground. I never remember this. I am not complaining when people are digging out from snow. Crazy weather!
I love it. Your hubby must enjoy sitting down to dinner!
It’s been getting colder here. I had to buy Winter school uniform things for my kid.
Spring has been up and down. We had frost this morning! I hope you are having a great week!
What a breath of spring to see your table! It was 33 this morning and snow late yesterday. I think it is suppose to be 80 tomorrow. Enough of that..back to the beauty of your table. The snowballs and azaleas are so beautiful. One would have to go a long way to find anything prettier than the “baroque ” pattern. The M and M vase draws out the blue in your cloth. Flowers just placed in a vase gives them their natural flow and makes for a prettier look. I think the real art of tablescapes is using things we have and finding new ways of presentation. That’s just one reason you are a master. Perfectly beautiful!
Dianne, thank you so much sweet friend! Your kind words are a precious blessing!
Just beautiful, Pam. I so love the pale blue with the colors from the azalea. Blooms in a pitcher are always so pretty to me. Those snowballs are gorgeous, I imagine you have your home filled with them. We woke up to a heavy dusting of snow and it is still snowing. My jasmine (loaded with buds) is white. Surely, spring will arrive soon. Have a lovely day, looking forward to your Friday flowers !
Sandra, I certainly hope your jasmine survives the snow! Thanks so much!
Isn’t it special to set a table with gifts from people you love? I especially love the last photo against the dark wood. I’m still down in Charleston, and the heat is running! Tomorrow it is supposed to be 85. My husband told me our azaleas were peaking yesterday at Clemson, so I hope the frost didn’t get them.
So sorry about the frost advisory. I hope they were overreacting and that your plants didn’t lose any of their gorgeous blooms. I think I would have been cutting arrangements like a crazy woman! Your table is gorgeous and the flowers and that lovely china really make it. Beautiful, Pam.
Aw, thank you Jeanie. We did have frost this morning. We had covered everything that was possible to cover. I did cut lots of blooms and they are all over the house! It is supposed to warm up to the lower 70’s today!
So pretty!
Thank you Penny!
Happy Tuesday to you,
I love your Azaleas and Snowall bouquet. We had many Azalea plants in Ca. and I miss the beautiful bushes-we haven’t found a variety that will tolerate Colorado’s cold winters. I also love Snowball bushes. I gave my daughter the Mary and Martha pitcher- it’s lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spring table!
Noreen
Noreen, thank you! I know you miss azaleas. I am sure your daughter loves the pitcher as much as I do! Have a wonderful week!
Pam, this is so pretty! The elegant white china against the soft blue tablecloth creates such a gorgeous setting. The flowers from your garden add the perfect finishing touch! Beautiful tables created with items we have on hand are my favorite! Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!!!
Thank you dearest Shannon! I hope you are feeling better today!
Simplicity always has its own elegance!
That is so beautiful. The splash of fuschia is really pretty!
Thank you for sharing! ?
Thank you my sweet friend!?
Stunning display in your dining room Pam! I love the simplicity so the flowers really steal the show, just as they do outside!
Thank you Jenna!
Your table is very elegant !I really love those flowers…Stunning!Have a lovely week!
Thank you Maristella!
Pam… every time that I look at your gorgeous tablesettings in your dining room I miss my red dining room in Texas. Your azaleas and hydrangeas are breathtaking!! Love the pitcher too. Have a wonderful week.
Thank you so much, Katie!
What darling napkin rings! Love them. How sweet of your friend to make you a lovely gift. I love your beautiful azaleas and snowballs. Your tablescapes always make me smile Pam. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy!
Nothing quite equals the fresh beauty of flowers, especially those that come from that beautiful garden of yours! Of course the lovely paisley cloth is a wonderful base. Blues and fresh flowers, my favorite combination.
Thank you so much, Sandra!
The flowers are so pretty and colorful. I’m with you on the weather. Last weekend we had a two day snow/ice/rain event. Even for Michigan that was a bit much for this time of year.
Such pretty flowers! Love the pretty color of the azaleas. I tried to grow them here but they struggled so much I finally gave up. You are so far ahead of us with the flowering shrubs. Our weather has been so disappointing but we are finally turning around and should be moving forward into spring quickly. Love the pitcher your daughter gifted you!
Thank you dear Liz. The azaleas have been gorgeous this year. Hopefully your weather will begin to improve!
Love snowballs in the flower arrangement. Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
Thank you Sherry!
Gorgeous! Featuring you today at TFT! Do come back and share your beautiful inspiration with us this week!
