“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”
Psalms 95:6
Hello sweet friends! I hope the start of your week has been wonderful. We had beautiful weather over the weekend, so we worked in the garden…weeding and planting annuals in several pots. Today Butch will sow sunflower seeds…now that is exciting. Setting a simple garden table is perfect for a weekend dinner. With God’s creation surrounding us, there isn’t much need for table decor. You’re invited to join the two of us.
Apricot Drift Roses were once again the inspiration for a simple table!
The tablecloth with its colorful pattern offers so many choices for mixing dishware.
The table was placed in front of the roses with the pasture as the background!
I mixed Hobby Lobby blush dinner plates with Johnson Brothers “willow” salad plates and sweet French-inspired appetizer plates from Sur La Table.
With so many colors represented on the tablecloth, I had plenty of napkin choices.
I love mixing blue with the blush color!
A small Italian pitcher holds white iceberg and coral drift roses cut from the garden. Privet was cut from the pasture and added to the roses.
“A word fitly spoken
is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Proverbs 25:11
The roses have such a sweet fragrance that was wafting through the air!
Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment. You truly make my day!

Just lovely. My favorites are the roses and the tablecloth. Where is the tablecloth from?
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Rhonda, thank you. Tablecloth was from TJ Max a few years ago.

Love the colours! Do you have a sheep for the pasture?
Pam @ Everyday Living says
No sheep, cows, or horses. We have a farmer that we allow to come and cut the hay for his cattle! We now own 25 acres, so we could raise some cattle. No one raises sheep this far south.
Runningonempty says
Cut grass is good for compost too.

So fresh and pretty. I’ve missed reading your posts. All I could do was view Instagram very quickly. My phone won’t hold a charge and there has been spotty internet and time. Your scriptures were very much appreciated this morning.

When I first saw this tablescape, I thought the flowers were in a pitcher filled with orange juice!!! I thought, “How incredibly fun!” Of course, after looking at subsequent pics I discovered I’d allowed my crazy imagination to run rogue! What a beautiful table, though! The tablecloth is such a wonderfully colorful backdrop to the carefully chosen patterns in the dishes, and quite obviously I love the “orange juice” pitcher! This is a great time of year to introduce lots of color and pattern that matches our lifted spirits in anticipation of Summer!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Alycia, wow your imagination went wild! Thank you so much, I certainly hope you are recovering. You are amazing!

Your flower arrangement against the garden background and on the pretty tablecloth is so stunning Pam!! I have been trying not to buy those blush plates from HL, I love them!
Jenna
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks Jenna. I was excited to find the blush plates at HL. I had been looking at similar ones that were much more expensive.

Perfectly beautiful! We have lots and lots of drift roses and guess I should put them to good use. Love, love the pitcher, one of my favorite colors. Always a joy to stop by!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Lea for stopping by. You should bring your drift roses inside, mine smell wonderful!
Mary says
Gorgeous Pam! I especially love your tables in your garden setting! Your ‘Apricot Drift’ Roses are dreamy! I just googled them and read that their low, spreading habit makes them perfect for small gardens which is ideal around my Potting Shed. I’ll have to see if the garden centers have any available. ♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Mary, drift roses are a wonderful addition to a garden. I hope you can locate them!
Patti Fralix says
Beautiful as always, Pam. I, like several others have mentioned, love the tablecloth! And I would love to dine outdoors in your lovely spaces. Your settings make the food, which you and I both love, almost inconsequential!

Good morning, Pam. I am late with my post here. I have been in the garden – it is about to be peony time.
Anyway, your post is wonderful as always. And your tablecloth is such a happy cloth. You are correct in that it gives you many options for dishes. I do love the yellow napkins and the yellow pitcher. But let’s talk about the star of the show – those glorious roses. They are so lovely and sitting by them would be enjoying a little piece of heaven.
Enjoy these magical days and all the beauty you have created in your gorgeous garden !

I would love to walk in your garden to see the stunning peonies. Thank you sweet friend!
