” O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth…
… You have set your glory above the heavens.”
Psalms 8:1
“Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.”
Proverbs 30:5
The look you get when you say, “it’s time to go inside!”
Hibiscus seems to always have a place on our patio!
Lavender is a favorite with its subtle yet sweet aroma!
A cherry tomato…no, it’s a strange mushroom!
Another weird mushroom at the base of a big water oak.
Daddy long legs, more commonly called a granddaddy spider or granddaddy longlegs, is not really a spider at all. Hate to disappoint all of us who call them spiders. It’s really an arachnid, part of a group called harvestmen. Spiders are arachnids but all arachnids are not spiders! Not to worry, we plan to keep calling them granddaddy spiders.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.
Hebrews 13:8

Great photos! Here in Aust. we do call them Daddy Long Legs.
Hi Cath, thank you wishing you a wonderful week!
You too!
So many great photos to love! The pink and blue sky, Ella Mae’s dress AND expression, those weird mushrooms that we’ve been getting too since Alberto. We call the arachnids Grand Daddy Longlegs! Yesterday we held a neighborhood church picnic with about 200 people in attendance (I was the general in charge and I’m pooped!) and today is the dedication of our new church!! Summer is off to a fantastic start.
Good morning Roxanne, the neighborhood picnic sounds wonderful and I know you were the perfect general. Wishing you a joy-filled day as you dedicate the new church! May the presence of the Holy Spirit fill the hearts of the believers as you worship!
Yes, He has set his glory above the heavens. At five this morning I enjoyed the illuminating crescent moon with dark blue sky and felt His presence. Your first pic gives the same feeling. So glorious.
Lovely flowers, Ella Mae, and freshly baled hay! I’m tasting those oysters, too!
Thank you Bonnie! Taking time to listen to His still small voice as we are in awe of His creation is the perfect way to start a new day!
