“Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.”
Proverbs 10:17
Happy Tuesday dear friends!
I hope your week is off to a good start. We enjoyed a few days of lower temps and humidity, but now they have returned. As I observe the changing of the light, I know that my favorite season is on its way. The garden changes also tell me that autumn is on the horizon. Hydrangeas start changing to their softer shades and the blush nandinas are beginning to turn. Please pull up a chair at my garden table and join me for a new tablescape… one with blushing hydrangeas on the table and in the garden!

The changing colors of the hydrangeas were the inspiration for my tablescape!
Blue and white remains a favorite and it is always a classic!
As autumn approaches, the limelight hydrangeas take on softer shades.
I dressed the table with a white cotton cloth and added water hyacinth placemats for texture. Pink napkins accent the hydrangeas!
The stemware is a favorite of mine but is no longer available through Horchow.
The blue and white pitcher is a recent find at a local antique mall.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Proverbs 25:11
I have used four different scenes from the Spode Blue Room Collection.

Just beautiful my dear friend. Your garden needs to be showcased in magazines and books. It delights many of us who wake up to its beauty. Your table with the blue, white and pink with the changing color of your hydrangeas is perfect. Blue and white is such a classic. You could give tours of your garden. What color are the walls in your DR? You know you have got all of us in suspense!

Thank you Dianne. I have the biggest mess at my house right now, I hope to see light at the end of this tunnel soon.

Hi, Pam, I’m back at my house. It’s been a few days (20) very intense, as intense as my grandchildren, especially little Gonzalo … it’s an earthquake!
Now at home sometimes I feel as if I had been deaf … what peace …! Hahaha
To this peace I add the pleasure of observing your beautiful table. The bright blue of the crockery and glass are wonderful … how beautiful.
I will send you some photos by email to see the earthquake of Gonzalo and his patient brother Manuel.
I had a great time, although in the south it’s too hot for me, and I love autumn and winter.
A hug

Your garden tablescape is so soft and lovely … gives me a very peaceful feeling .
I planted my first limelight hydrangea. When I returned from vacation , it had changed color – I thought it was suffering . You taught me something as I did not realize it changed from white to a beautiful shade of blush .
Looking forward to the dining room reveal !
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Christine, once they start turning they are perfect for drying! Enjoy

Pam, as you know I adore the blue and white. Your tables are always so pretty. I just adore looking at them. I am so hoping cooler temps heads our way. It has been so hot and even with rain it’s humid. I am trying to gear up for bow season and girl, it is hard for me to pack my backpack because I know the temps will be soaring. Hope you have a great day. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Cindy, I am amazed that you bow hunt. My hubby and son are avid hunters, but I have never gone. Hugs

Oh, sweet friend! When my spirit is weary and I need a reprieve it is always such a joy and so soothing to stop by here and see the beauty you always provide. Those hydrangeas are just breathtaking, and you have everything arranged so perfectly. I love that you chose pink napkins to bring a pop of color that draws attention to the pink in the flowers. You have such a gift for eyeing the details and getting it all right. Thank you for refreshing my spirit, as always.

Thank you Cheryl. Wishing you a beautiful day sweet friend.
