“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.”
1 Peter 4:12-13
At the autumnal equinox the sun has completed half the journey as it treks southward!
Looks like this field is about ready for the picker!
Ella Mae is having a busy day in the kitchen.
The bird sanctuary boardwalk is a popular place on picture perfect days and it’s sometimes hard to get a pic with not a soul in sight!
Always an ever changing and unique view from up on our hill.
Nothing buzzing around at the moment but we were very careful not to cause a disturbance!
Our John Deere probably rides a little smoother than this old tractor!
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Hi friends! Awesome pictures, just breathtaking…That precious cooker made me smile!Blessed Sunday!
Sorry for my bad English, correcting: Cook or chef,I hope it is right now!
Thank you dear Maristella!
That hornets nest is a scary sight. I don’t want to be within a country mile of one. Have you ever been stung by a hornet? It’s awful. Would not want anything to sting Ella Mae, the aspiring chef.
Alice, fortunately I haven’t been stung by a hornet but Butch has. Happy Sunday dear friend!
An Ella Mae- inspired tea party would make a great Tablescape Tuesday! I love her pink teapot!! That hornet’s nest was a scary sight. Have a wonderful week, darling Pam.
Thank you sweet Roxanne! Happy Sunday!
Love the clouds over the cotton field. The clouds have been so beautiful lately! Beautiful pictures as always. Have a lovely day.
Wishing you a Happy Sunday…thank you Bonnie!
Love those autumnal equinox and cotton pickin’ photos! I will miss that high sun as it treks southward….
Ella Mae looks so intent on her activity. I bet you just wanted to pull her through that lens and squeeze her to pieces, she’s so cute!
Happy Fall, Pam, and Happy Sunday.
Happy Sunday and Fall, Rita and thank you!???
Such beautiful pictures to get our Sunday off to a wonderful start! That sunset is stunning, and I always love seeing a cotton field ready for harvest. Seeing pretty Ella Mae in her kitchen reminded me of my sweet Caroline at that age. We had tea parties all the time….oh, how I wish I could go back. It goes by so fast! She is learning to drive now, and I don’t know if I am ready for all of this change. Happy Fall, and I hope you enjoy your Sunday, sweet friend!
Shannon, your sweet Caroline is like all children, they grow up too quickly. Happy Sunday sweet friend!
Good Sunday morning, Pam. Such glorious photos. You know how I love that cotton field. I would love to pull some of it through my screen to hang in my kitchen. And precious Ella Mae – she is so adorable in this photo in her darling dress.
I do hope you will begin to see cooler weather and signs of fall. Wishing you a beautiful day and week ahead. Safe travels and have a lovely trip!
Thank you sweet friend!?
Cotton fields are one of my favorite sights in the fall, and I love the old tractor too! I bet the bird sanctuary is a beautiful place to walk…happy Sunday,

Wow! Gorgeous photos and inspirational thoughts. My favorite of all of them is the blue sky and fabulous clouds over the cotton field. I saw your post over at the “Dishing it and Digging It” blog party.
