“The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.”
Psalms 145:8-9
Hello sweet friends! We just returned home last night from a wonderful vacation to Jackson Hole, WY, Yellowstone and The Grand Teton National Parks. It was so nice to have comfortable temperatures and low humidity. Walking out of the Atlanta airport yesterday felt like an oven. I have so many photos to sort through, hopefully I can share soon.
It is the first Friday of the month and that means another edition of Floral Friday with my sweet blogging friends. I am always excited to see their beautiful floral inspiration and to share their amazing talents with you.

Pumpkins automatically signal fall’s arrival and they are our common theme for this Floral Friday. The vintage three-wheel Schwinn bicycle has a basket full of pumpkins and the table has a blooming pumpkin centerpiece!
I have found that the easiest way to use a pumpkin for a floral arrangement is to place wet floral foam on top. My pumpkin had a nice stem that the foam slipped down on and it was secure without using floral tape. This is faster and less messy than scooping out a pumpkin.
At the bottom of this post, you will find the links for Lidy, Mary, and Shirley and their beautiful florals!
Autumn is the perfect time for dining alfresco. I set my garden table for a casual dinner of yes, you guessed, pumpkin soup.
For the base of the arrangement, I cut sunshine ligustrum from my garden. I then added pink carnations, rust and gold spider mums, and white alstroemeria.
Faux antler candle stands are one of my go-to’s for the fall season.
I layered two drop cloths for the table covering. They are inexpensive and I love to use them for outdoor dining!
Pumpkin soup bowls for pumpkin soup!
Plaid napkins and a couple of orange pumpkins were added.
I kept the arrangement low and compact for easy conversation.

Pam, I discovered the tip to use floral foam on top of the pumpkin a couple of years ago, it is such a time saver! I love your pretty combination of garden greenery and flowers and your bicycle full of pumpkins is such a fun addition in the background! Your vacation to Jackson Hole sounds wonderful, if for no other reason than to escape the heat and humidity and enjoy a taste of fall! Looking forward to seeing your photos and hearing about your trip. As always it’s a pleasure to join you for Floral Friday.♥

Adding the ligustrum from your garden cascading down your arrangement was a great idea. I really like the light pink carnations added to rust and gold spider mums and then white alstroemeria as your flowers. Those color combinations show your creativity.
I love your layered drop clothes and fall runner and other fall table elements.
It is always fun to see what you come up with for Floral Friday. I just need to be a fly on the wall to see how you get all you do done! I’m not sure when you sleep!???

Bonnie, I am sleep deprived from the trip. The altitude really affected me this time, more than ever before. Thank you sweet friend and have a beautiful weekend!

Welcome home Pam, you must have had a wonderful trip even if you were sleep deprived. You ladies are all so creative, love your beautiful table. May I ask a question in regards to your tip to use floral foam on top of the pumpkin. When the foam starts to dry out, how do you moisten it without the water going everywhere?
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Karen, thank you so much. I gradually add a little water to the foam, let it soak in before adding more. I hope that helps.
Patti @ Pandora's Box says
Your pumpkin is lovely – and so is the table!! Well done!
