“Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.”
Proverbs 25:12
Happy Tuesday dear friends! I hope you are having a wonderful autumn week so far. We finally have cooler temperatures that feel like fall and I am loving it! It was pure pleasure to set up this tablescape in the garden late Saturday afternoon with a fall breeze blowing and low humidity!

After Saturday morning brunch with a precious friend, I made a quick dash to TJ Maxx and of course, I found something. This lovely plaid tablecloth (at a ridiculously low price) just jumped into my cart.
The dough bowl is a special hand-made gift from a dear friend of our family that passed away several years ago. He made it for my Mother and I cherish it and the sweet memories that go along with it.
Vintage napkins that are perfect for a fall tabletop!
I gathered pumpkins, seed pods, and dried sunflowers to fill the bowl. I love a centerpiece that is made with what I have on hand and easy to assemble…the no fuss kind!
I was smitten when I saw these Williams Sonoma Harvest Pumpkin salad plates with their brown/black background and vibrant pumpkins and fruit. I tried to talk myself out of them, but with a 25% off sale it was a no brainer. There are four different patterns…this one is a white Cinderella pumpkin with apples…
…a striped pumpkin with pears…
…a pumpkin with mini pumpkins…
..and my favorite one with figs! I purchased these for my Thanksgiving table, but I had to go ahead and use them! I already have many sets of dishes, so I normally just purchase salad plates which are less expensive and take up less storage space.
The amber stemware graces many fall tables. It was purchased years ago at a local department store in a box set of 12 and do I ever miss that wonderful store that closed its doors!
The dinner plates are “baroque” by American Atelier and they are still available at Horchow.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Proverbs 25:11
Thank you sweet friends for all of your visits and comments! Wishing y’all a beauty-filled autumn day!

Beautiful autumn table Pam. Love those WS dishes. I’ve been eyeing them but haven’t made the purchase yet. I especially enjoyed the center arrangement- that dried sunflower really created a great look. The amber stemware is perfect for this time of year. It is sad when these favorite stores close and there have been too many. Have a beautiful week!

Thank you so much Liz. Autumn is my favorite season, Happy Weekend!

Just beautiful Pam! I couldn’t resist those WS salad plates either, perfect for fall or Thanksgiving. I love your easy ‘no fuss’ centerpiece and especially the addition of the dried sunflowers. I’m always amazed at affordable price of tablecloths at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. We had the same wonderful fall weather this past weekend but warmed back up yesterday. Cooler temps are back on the way later in the week, yay 🙂 Look forward to seeing you Friday. ♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Mary. We are enjoying cooler temps already!

Love the salad plates, but what I love even more is the justification used for buying them, lol. I’m so proud of myself for emptying a tub FULL of dishes a week ago (donated). It leaves room for lots of salad plates. hehe Happy Tablescape Tuesday, Pam!
Rita C. says
Forgot to mention how much I love your dough bowl, especially with its special meaning behind it! The arrangement is perfect, love the huge sunflower head and seed pods.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Rita. I do enjoy an easy centerpiece!

Those of us who are dishaholics will find a way to fee the habit. Lol

Thanksgiving shouldn’t be just one day but everyday. Therefore using the WS salad plates were not used early, to my way of thinking, but rather because it’s a day to give thanks. My foot fetish has turned into a plate fetish because wearing high heels at this age is asking for trouble. There are so many lovely plates to choose from these days but storage has forced me to slow down on getting them. The closet that holds my tablecloths was full also so recently a gave some of them away to my nail tech. She was thankful as she is helping to raise her sons stepchildren and teaching them how to behave at a well dressed table. God bless her and all the people that bring the children to a table to sit and eat with family.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Amen Alice. Thanksgiving is every day. I couldn’t help but laugh about the shoe fetish turning into a plate fetish. We are so similar. I have always loved shoes and wore high heels all my life until about two years ago, and I suddenly felt like I couldn’t walk in them. I am short and I always thought the heels were a plus for me. I guess now I just buy plates instead of shoes!

Pam, You were meant for tablescaping! Again and again you delight us with pretty and creative tables.
Love the heirloom handmade dough bowl and how you styled it.
It is foggy and warm today here. We received a hard downpour last night just as a meeting I helped host was starting. People had to wait in their cars.
Thanks for a lovely post to enjoy this morning.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Bonnie. It rained yesterday off and on. It is definitely cooler and I am glad.
Marty@A Stroll Thru Life says

Love, love, love, the table. So very pretty. Love that dough bowl. I have one that has been handed down to me. Story was that my great-grandfather made the dough bowl. My grandmother used for years and then I winded up with it. Love your tablecloth too! Hugs and blessings to you dear Pam. P.S. I ordered the The blessing jar book and it came in yesterday. I am so EXCITED! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Cindy, it is a sweet little book that you can enjoy with your grands and teaches them about how to see blessings everywhere. Thank you my friend!

Oh, Pam – I am truly in love with your table. The dough bowl is absolutely stunning, filled with such gorgeousness. It is perfect on your table. I do know it is a treasure to you. I have a small round one that was my grandmothers, so I do understand the love you have for yours.
One does need to be careful at TJ Maxx. I have had many things just jump in my cart there too. Your tablecloth is so pretty, I know you are happy it found you. Also, your salad plates are wonderful – you will enjoy them for years to come.
Have a lovely week, dear friend. I hope you are starting to see cooler weather. We are to have highs in the mid 50’s this week. Yeah!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Sandra. I love your visits and I am so glad Fall is finally showing up. We have cooler weather also and it is perfect. Thank you sweet friend!

Dear Pam, today you have touched the weak point of my perception of beauty. The tablecloth !!! What a wonder of colors and how simple at the same time …
And I add the uniqueness of the dishes so original and beautiful.
You have a special personal taste that excites me, the combination of this so relaxing and beautiful table makes me happy.
Those white pumpkins are very beautiful, I have never seen any in Spain.
I congratulate you
Dolores

Aprecio tus dulces sentimientos y aliento. Enviando abrazos, pam

Pam, this is so pretty! I have been eyeing those plates, too. I may have to break down and buy them. A couple of tablecloths from TJ Maxx made their way into my cart also last weekend. I’m just as bad about collecting table linens as I am dishes. Your table looks gorgeous and perfect for an alfresco autumn dinner. The traditional colors are just lovely and that sweet dough bowl looks beautiful adorned for fall! Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Shannon. I collect linens as much as I do dishes❤️

What a lovely and adorable table setting. With temperatures still raging at the 90s it is difficult to get in a fall mood! But I still love sitting in my AC home, enjoying the cute pumpkin table setting!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you so much! Hopefully you will soon have more fall like weather.
Alycia Nichols says
Beautifully done! I saw the runner in that pattern and almost bought it. I should have. The colors are gorgeous. You did a great job of showcasing the colors and pattern without drowning out the beauty of the other elements on the table.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Alycia. I sure miss you sweet lady. Thank you for dropping by. I hope you are doing well.

This is a table after my own heart. You know I love pumpkins, and when a centerpiece is of the no fuss variety I like it even better. I’m going to look and see if there are any more of those plates.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Linda, it was certainly a no fuss variety!

Such an interesting way to use pumpkins Pam! We don’t use them here for table decorations…they are just a vegetable for cooking but I love the interesting & inspiring ways you have been using them! 😀
Blessings,
