“In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:4-5
Happy Tuesday sweet friends, I hope your week is off to a good start! Mine is busy as I am sure yours is…after all, the Christmas season is here! I do have an important announcement, so you will want to read all the way to the bottom of the post. So without further delay, let’s get Tablescape Tuesday underway with Golden Reindeer!
The inspiration for this tablescape are the two large reindeer. Ella Mae says they are Bambi’s mommy and daddy and the small one is Bambi. I have had these for years and use them in different places each Christmas, this year they are the stars for a tablesetting!
Early morning sunlight casts unusual light and shadows.
The deer seem to take on a glow from the sun!
Fitz and Floyd “Winter Holiday” dinner plates and “Winter Holiday Rose Wreath” salad plates…
…with vintage cranberry stemware!
I rarely use faux flowers, but I love using these tulips at Christmas!
I placed a festive runner on top of the tablecloth.
The tablecloth has a beautiful edge of musical instruments and titles of Christmas Carols. I bought this many years ago at Williams Sonoma.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Proverbs 25:11
Now for the all important announcement. We had announced a few weeks ago that Floral Friday was moving to the first and third Mondays of the month. Our fearless leader, Shirley had a wonderful idea: Why not kick off Monday Morning Blooms with two special treats! We have collaborated with Lynch Creek Farm with all five of us featuring a gorgeous wreath and an arrangement. You might be thinking five, there were only four of you. We are so excited to welcome Yvonne, of StoneGable to our group. Everyone knows Yvonne and what a special treat she will be!
Our Inaugural Monday Morning Blooms will span over this week with one of us posting each day. Now for the second treat: a GIVEAWAY!!! Our readers will have a chance to win the same wreath that we each have selected for our own home. For more chances to win, please visit all of the ladies of Monday Morning Blooms on their selected days and comment on your desire to win the wreath.
Yesterday, Mary of Home Is Where The Boat Is presented her wreath and centerpiece. Pay Mary a visit and comment on her beautiful porch for a chance to win.
Today, Shirley of Housepitality Designs is sharing her wreath and centerpiece. Hop over for a visit to her lovely, but temporary home for another chance to win.
Tomorrow I will be sharing, so come back for another chance to win.

Pam, I deerly love your table! The Fitz and Floyd Winter Holiday Rose Wreath salad plates are so pretty and I love seeing the beautiful edge of your tablecloth with the Christmas carols and musical instruments. Love the shots with the beautiful bokeh from your tree framed with the deer antlers! Looking forward to seeing your home decked for the holidays with your wreath and centerpiece tomorrow. ♥
Thank you Mary, I am so glad I was able to get the Fitz and Floyd several years ago.
Oh, that table is lovely, Pam. And I especially love the gorgeous musical table cloth — I think Rick would love that one too. All beautiful! I’ll look forward to seeing your designs for Floral Friday!
Jeanie, it is my favorite Christmas cloth!
Luv the way the deep reds & gold for a beatiful table —it has all come to life with the life looking deers- what a great table to sit down to- you have made it so Cheery & Brite- I would luv to be able to win the wreath you are putting together – here in Arizona – it’s so hard to find that perfect & real greens to have a wreath that can last -it’s cool now in the 60’s —it would live for awhile – lol

Another winner tablescape. Your table is lovely and elegant with the beautiful tablecloth, Christmas china, and stunning golden deer! I did not know your flowers were faux. Looked so real.
I am looking forward to your post tomorrow! The giveaways by Lynch Creek are beautiful.
Thanks so much Bonnie!
Good Morning Pam-What a beautiful tablescape you have shared with us today. I can just imagine your family gathered around this stunning table decorated with love. I absolutely love everything! The tulips are gorgeous and a nice change from poinsettias. They look real and the color is so rich. The dishes, deer, and tablecloth are just gorgeous! Your cranberry glasses are so pretty (you have a lovely collection of glassware that makes me salivate over them). This table compliments your vintage nutcrackers you shared earlier. Wishing you a blessed day. Clara ?
Thank you so much Clara, wishing you a most wonderful Christmas season!
So stunning Pam!! Bambi and her parents are just beautiful and so festive! Now that you’ve painted the dining room, the red accessories are really popping! Does Ella Mae “help” you with your tablescapes? You seem to get a lot done even though she is with you! Yvonne will be a lovely addition to your floral group, and how wonderful to have Lynch Creek Farm sponsor the giveaway!
Jenna
Jenna, thank you. Ella Mae is so sweet and she loves to look. She wanted to play with Bambi and his parents. The large reindeer are really heavy, but I let her carry Bambi around all day.
Wow, that table is spectacular, Pam!

Oh Pam, your table is fabulous. Every detail is perfection. And, it is absolutely stunning in your new dining room. It is almost as though the room is giving the table permission to speak. And it speaks beautifully. I so love the china and stemware. Your tablecloth and reindeer are lovely as well.
Wishing you a lovely week – we are all getting busy. Love to you, sweet friend.
