One of many historic churches that can be discovered around Northeast Alabama.
It will soon be time to trim everything back in preparation for Spring!
Our city with it’s rivers and lakes! Thanks to our son at Appalachian Digital Media!
The ancient ruins at Philippi, Greece.
This looks like a serious pose…we think Ella Mae is catching on to this photo business!
It’s yesterday once more. That might make a good song title!
This should warm us on a January day!
The colors of spring in watercolor fashion also helps to bring a warm feeling to a winter day.
These grasses will soon be trimmed back to the ground. They continue to come back thicker and taller it seems.
We aren’t wishing life away, but what is wrong with looking forward to scenes like this ?
The free library seems to be a neat idea that is catching on!
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Hugh variety of pictures but my all time favorite is Miss Ella Mae! She is a real life doll. Just what I needed on this bleak Sunday morning. Her dress is gorgeous and yes she has perfected the pose. Sweet sweet picture.
Thank you Alice. She is a sweetheart and has me wrapped her finger. It is a cold and gloomy day here, but I am sure not as cold as yours. Have a joy-filled Sunday!
This is a most cheerful Sunday morning post. My favorites are Ella Mae with her mermaid doll and you at the PR in Greece. I love the mixture…share a book concept, the watercolor, the warm and inviting chili bowl…everything. Ella Mae is a very beautiful child. Blessings to you my friend.
Thank you so much Dianne and Happy Sunday dear friend!
Oh, Pam, I so enjoyed all these photos. They are all wonderful. I have three that are favorites today. At the top is lovely Ella Mae, she is a beautiful little doll. Next is the photo of you in Greece, and last is From A Room With A View. Love them!
Wishing you a beautiful day and week ahead, dear friend!
Thank you sweet Sandra. I had to get creative this week because I have had a bad cold and we have had rain. The black and white is a photo of our very old oak tree. Happy Sunday!
So sorry to hear that you have been sick this week, dear friend, and I hope that you have fully recovered. Love this post, and especially the photo of Ella Mae. The photo of you in Greece is lovely as well. And Seth’s aerial photography is most impressive.
Thank you Patti. I am feeling much better. Love to all sweet friend!
Pam, such beautiful photos to brighten up a gloomy winter’s day. I agree with everyone else…Miss Ella Mae is a doll! What fun you two must have! Happy Sunday, sweet friend!!!
Thank you Shannon, enjoy your week!
I love the aerial your son took, so much water!! Beautiful! It is such a joy to watch Ella Mae grow into such a beautiful girl! Oh I would cry when those beautiful grasses are cut back, how long does it take them to grow back? Looks like we might have a couple of dry days, yay! Love the old tree photo…
Jenna
Thanks Jenna. Cutting the grasses back only makes them grow larger. As soon as warm weather comes, they will be up and green.
Beautiful photos!! I recognize some of those places! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Stacy. Have a wonderful week!
It warms my heart to come here and find Scripture and such loveliness! May the dear Lord bless you richly on this beautiful day, sweet friend. 🙂
Thank you for each visit, Cheryl. Have a wonder-filled week!
Oh my!The princess made me smile!Just adorable!Have a blessed Sunday!
Thanks so much Maristella!
Our sermon at church this morning was on mercy. How unbelievable you started with a verse on mercy. I hope you are feeling better. Like everyone else, I really enjoyed your mix of photo subject matter! My favorite was the bare oak and the beautiful sky and water shots. I think we all feel such joy watching Ella Mae grow up.
Thank you Roxanne. The oak stands proudly on our property. Have a wonderful week!
Just beautiful! The pink zinnias with the bee is a warm reminder of my favorite summer days! Hope you have a wonderful week.
Thank you And wishing you a great week!
Beautiful headline in today’s post: The Beatitudes … I believe, I affirm … that the Beatitudes are one of the most beautiful chapters of our beliefs. Just a few weeks ago I attended some talks about the Beatitudes, certainly beautiful.
And speaking of beautiful things, we have Miss Ella Mae, who is more beautiful every day.
The aerial photos very good. The photo in excellent Greece … in short, a very successful post that I liked a lot.
Dolores
Dolores, gracias. Me encanta estudiar las bienaventuranzas. Es muy frío y sombrío aquí, ¿estás experimentando un clima frío? Siempre disfruto sus visitas. Bendiciones, Pam
Maine is full of free libraries and I do love the idea which really hasn’t caught on in urban Houston. Spring will be here before you know it and life will be full of pink.
Spring will be upon us soon!
Get well my sweet friend…always love your pictures…awesome! Blessings dear friend in Christ.
Thank you Kari, I am feeling better!
