“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3
Happy Tuesday sweet friends! Thank you for all of your lovely comments about yesterday’s post and my precious friend, I know Bonnie Jean is smiling. If you missed it, you can read it here.
With all the gray and dreary days of January, I was in desperate need of color. I took apart my Monday Morning Blooms arrangement and did something a little different. Colorful and patterned dinnerware was the perfect complement for the flowers.
I was so thrilled to have a day of beautiful sunshine yesterday, and in the early morning it was casting light and shadows on my dining table. It was such a welcome change after days of rain.
The dinnerware by Tracy Porter is “Artesian Road” and is now discontinued. The dinner plate, salad plate, and soup bowl are different patterns with each having a bamboo-style edge.
The beautiful “free spirit” roses filled 6 small vases with differing patterns that were also made by Tracy Porter.
The centerpiece of hydrangeas, free spirit roses, and seeded eucalyptus were placed in a majolica pitcher!
Three hyacinth placemats lined the center of the table to provide texture for the vases of flowers!
Faux tortoise flatware and coral napkins…
…with hand-crafted bark napkin rings…
…and turquoise blue stemware complete the setting.

Thank you Carole!
Pam, so lovely. And the colors are an absolute WOW in your new dining room. I love coral and I don’t know why but I don’t have any of it in our home. Must remedy that. I so enjoyed this post on a cloudy WV morning.
Have a wonderful day and week, my dear friend.
Thank you Sandra, enjoy your day and stay warm!
Oh Pam that dinnerware is gorgeous and so perfect with the incredible free spirit roses! Yes, celebrate the sunshine that has been so rare lately!! Enjoy that beautiful table this week!
Jenna
Thank you Jenna. The sun certainly looks good!
The perfect colorful table to perk up a cloudy day!
Thank you Penny!
I love the coral against your new paint! My living and dining room are painted a slightly deeper shade, SW Windy Blue, and over the years I’ve discovered it is a great backdrop to so many colors. My fall and Christmas decorations all look great and it’s a very peaceful, soothing color. A lot of people don’t want blue on their walls (too big a commitment perhaps?), but I love it!
I know your living and dining rooms are beautiful shade of blue! Enjoy your day, Roxanne!
Oh I love it all. You have coordinated so many pretty colors and patterns together for the perfect table.
Thank you so much Marty!
You’re right about color on a cold day! That really looks warm and inviting and yes, perfect for January!
Thank you Jeanie. Enjoy your day!
What a cheerful table Pam! Coral & turquoise are favorite colors to uplift a mood. The roses and hydrangeas just highlight the beautiful dinnerware & your dining room walls. The blooms & beautiful table sure lifted us out of the winter gloom! Have a terrific day! Clara

Pam, when I saw this tablescape this morning on Instagram it took my breath away! It is absolutely gorgeous! You know I adore color, and this is just the thing to brighten a gloomy winter’s day. By the way, my dining room is finished, and I love it! Thanks so much for sharing the color…it just made my home look so much better. I smile everytime I walk into the room. Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!!!
You are so sweet Shannon. I can’t wait to see your dining room!
Love all the orange-y and coral-y colors! I went back and read your post about Bonnie Jean. What a great person to have loved! I need to use the name Bonnie Jean in a story because I also knew a Bonnie Jean that was a firecracker. So glad you told us her story.
Thank you Leslie Anne. Bonnie Jean was a southern belle as is the name. I say use it.
This is so beautiful and elegant! Just breathtaking!! Thank you so much for sharing. I didn’t get to read your previous post, so will go do that now. Many blessings to you, my friend!
Thank you dear friend!
I really love this! These are one of my favorite dishes I adore the color and pattern on them. Your flowers look fabulous in the majolica vases. I especially love the little bud bases with those roses!
Thanks so much Liz!
Your stunningly vibrant dinnerware so reminds me of the vintage Dorothy Thorpe Persimmon china pattern. Thank you for this bright and colorful table setting.
Thanks so much for your visit. Have a wonderful weekend!
Pam, your tablescapes and the setting are gorgeous! I can hardly believe my eyes. Thank you for the color feast and inspiration.
Thank you Carol. Enjoy your weekend!
Another lovely tablescape, Pam! Would love to have you link up over at Homestyle Gathering! 😉
I linked and commented, but it didn’t appear to go through!
It did go through. 🙂 Not sure why it looked like it didn’t… we’ll have to keep an eye on that! Thank you for linking up, Pam… I would have missed your Free Spirit post if you hadn’t! Hugs!
My pleasure, Julie. I some how missed your new party. Much success with it!
Pam, I love how you repurposed your Free Spirit roses from MMBs for your table. They are the perfect complement to your Tracy Porter Artesian Road! So beautiful and colorful! ♥
Thanks so much Mary!
I always love your tablescapes Pam but I think this may be my all time favorite. Everything plays off each other so well.
Thank you Karen! Have a wonderful week!
