“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24
From a domed car of the Rocky Mountaineer you can see magnificent scenery in the Canadian Rockies. We are ready for a return trip!
This home seems to perfectly fit the setting. It’s almost like it grew on this spot!
The bare trees of winter allow rays of light to come through in places that are shaded the rest of the year.
The Coosa has seen a lot of water flowing during the past few weeks. We’ve had a rainy December and January.
Nobody better mess with this mermaid!
May as well get some use out of this can until it is time to water again!
This frittata was delicious and approved for our diet program!
Mid winter snacks lined up and ready to go!
A Georgia sunset this past week…
… and the same day in Alabama. We’ve had awesome sunrises and sunsets over the autumn and winter! Are the events more numerous or are we just more in tune with God’s handiwork?
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Well the weather here has been unusual, so it could be more numerous. Lovely photos. You’re on a diet? Cath
Yes, I always diet the first of the year to get off the couple of pounds I gain over Christmas?
Has Ella Mae discovered the blankets that look like mermaid tails? Maybe share that delicious looking frittata recipe on a future post! I saw a hilarious sign this week …my stomach is flat, only the L is silent. Our sunset was purple and rose last evening, and it was light at 6:00. Happy, blessed Sunday, sweet Pam.
The sign is hilarious! Wishing you a beautiful week Roxanne!
Lovely, lovely post this morning, Pam. Your sunset photos are glorious. I believe as we get a wee bit older we notice such beauty more and grow in our appreciation. Dear Ella Mae – she becomes more beautiful with every passing day. Enjoyed seeing your frittata. I made one this past week- perfect winter evening dinner.
Wishing you and your family a beautiful day and week ahead. Stay warm.
Thank you dear Sandra. We are expecting a cold week with the possibility of snow on Tuesday!
Glorious sunsets Pam! The days are getting longer and January is almost over ? Your mermaid is adorable, she always wears the cutest clothes! Your frittata looks divine! Enjoy this sunny Sunday!

Oh Pam what beautiful sunsets, so many pretty colors blending together! The frittata looks delicious. Sweet Ella Mae has gorgeous brown eyes that are so expressive. She is such a little doll. The nature shots are so calming and the cabin is just begging to be explored. Oh what tales it could tell! God has blessed you with many wonderful talents and we thank you for sharing them with us. Wishing you a calm, peaceful Sunday. Clara ?
Clara, thanks so much for your sweet visits. I love hearing from you. Wishing you a wonderful week!
Would love to read your original post about the Rocky Mountaineer! We are taking that trip in June. How can I find that post on your blog?
You will love the trip, I sent you an email!
One if these days I’m going to have a log cabin though the rest of my family doesn’t get it!

Pam, what beautiful photographs for this lovely Sunday! Those sunsets are breathtaking! Oh, how I remember The Little Mermaid. We had the princess dress and the dressing table. Ariel was one of Caroline’s favorite princesses. Happy Sunday, sweet friend!!!
Shannon, she loves the Little Mermaid, it belonged to her mommy! Have a great week sweet friend!
Dear friend, maybe you thought that the aliens had kidnapped me … No … I’m fine, pretty good after having the whole family in the house (4 adults and 4 children) celebrating the feast of the Magi, let’s say that has been very “intense” … hahahahaha
I do not forget to tell you something about carnations in Spain, I will send you the comment and the photos.
Today it gives us very beautiful images, winter is also beautiful, nature is always beautiful. It is always a pleasure to see your post.

From my perch overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Cabo, I am enjoying your Sunday post and that brow eyed princess of yours? I saw a little girl in one of the pools here at Sunset Beach wearing a mermaid fin and took her picture. Truly precious. One of these days would love to have your frittata recipe. Happy Sunday.
Alice, I hope you are having a wonderful time in Cabo. I will try to send the recipe!

Well, I’m a day late, but your Sunday posts brighten any day, no matter whether it is Sunday or not. Traveling soon? Hope so!
Thank you Jeanie, we have no major travel plans scheduled!
So calming and peaceful, dear friend. sorry I am late in commenting…lots going on these days and your posts always bring me back down to earth! Our message Sunday was all about John’s message to love one another, the same message he preached after Patmos, pretty much all his life. wouldn’t it be great if we all loved one another, truly loved…this current political situation would be so much better, don’t you think? That message and your pictures were just what I needed today. Hugs sweet friend.
Thank you dear Kari! Love is so needed in our broken world!
Pam, your photos are lovely. Such gorgeous sunsets and your sweet Ella Mae. The frittata does look quite delicious. Happy week ahead.
