“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8
Hello sweet friends, and happy February! I am so glad you stopped by because it is the first Monday of the month which means Monday Morning Blooms! I can hardly believe it is already February…didn’t we just celebrate Christmas?! This month is quite special to me because not only do I love celebrating Valentine’s Day, but we also celebrate our anniversary this month! More about that later. Most people think of celebrating Valentine’s Day with your spouse, but it can also be the perfect time to share time with the precious ladies in your life…mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends! Entertaining a group of ladies can be really simple if you set up your coffee table with a few sweet treats that you can buy at the grocery store. Coffee, conversation, and sweet treats…what’s not to love?!
Flowers and Valentine’s Day just go together which is our common theme for this edition Of Monday Morning Blooms! My Renaissance Man often buys flowers just because, but I always receive a lovely bouquet on February 14.
You will find all the links for my talented friends at the end of this post.
I was fortunate enough to find gorgeous pale pink and white lisianthus. I was hoping for ranunculus, but I thought these would be just perfect. It was easy to find rose-colored alstroemeria and seeded eucalyptus to finish the arrangement that was placed in my silver teapot.
When I saw these pretty red velvet hearts with the tiny gold crown, I just had to order one. They are made by Hot Skwash who also makes the beautiful pumpkins with feathers.
I never eat candy, but I do splurge on Valentine’s Day. My beloved Mother’s tiered tray was filled with Reese’s peanut butter hearts, Hershey’s Kisses, Oreo Strawberry creme flavored cookies with a variety of sweet sayings, and red velvet cupcakes with buttercream icing!
Marc Jacobs “David” bone China by Waterford was found at TJ Maxx several years ago. It is a discontinued pattern, but I love the pieces that I have. Did you notice the M&M’s?
As you can see, the table isn’t fussy, but simple!
But, then I had an idea to just have some fun with the coffee table. I moved things around and added a few things! You will see that it takes on a lot of color, and you know I love color!
I added one of my favorites, macarons…
…colorful little heart plate for the cupcakes…
…pearl and diamond necklace, a gift from my hubby, was placed on the heart…
..and Valentine’s Day cards that I have saved for so many years were placed in a collage-style on the coffee table! It was so sweet to take them out and read them again. Needless to say, there were a few tears that were shed.
And now you will not want to miss all of the Valentine’s Day floral inspiration. Just click on the links to visit my amazing and talented friends!

Oh my Pam, the arrangement of Lisianthus is gorgeous! No Lisianthus or Ranunculus here 🙁 but can’t wait for their arrival…hey, we will have an early Spring! First of all, Happy Anniversary month…I cannot wait to hear what adventure you two will go on! The table of pretties is wonderful from the beautiful plates to your most treasured mother’s tiered stand. I had to smile when you mentioned the pearl and diamond necklace that your Love gifted to you…was it on Valentine’s Day?…I have always wanted a strand of Mikimoto pearls…but not in the budget of a young family and the list goes on…then one Valentine’s Day…I unwrapped a beautiful blue box…the pearls I always wanted…I wear them often…our hubbies are keepers I say! Have a most beautiful day and so happy to participate in Monday Morning Blooms with you…and BTW, love the title!…My regards to your everyday Valentine, Butch!
Thank you dear Shirley❤️
Pam, What a beautiful and sentimental way to display your Valentines received from your hubby through the years! I love color too and your display of sweets is oh so tempting…I’ll take a macaron please. 🙂 I can see why you were tempted to buy that plush crowned velvet heart…it makes a perfect display for your beautiful necklace too. I love lisianthus and your arrangement is so pretty paired with the seed eucalyptus and alstroemeria. Thank you for the flower therapy this morning. I look forward to joining you at your table tomorrow. ♥
Thank you dear Mary❤️
Pam, your flower arrangement is so pretty, love that overhead shot! The crowned heart is adorable, and looks terrific nestled in the moss with diamonds & pearls. How fun it would be to set a little table like that with all the cards between you & Butch and just enjoy the cozy time reading, having the drinks with sweets. I love that idea.
Thank you Rita! It was a fun table to set up, and I did sample some of the sweets!
How delightful! Such a lovely assortment of sweet treats, Valentine memorablia, and pretty pink flowers! Such a cozy festive spot for a visit, a nibble, and a sip! Perfect for Valentines or Galentines! Your flowers are gorgeous Pam! Happy Anniversary month!
Jenna
Thank you Jenna❤️
I love what you did with the valentines and your table! and those yummy cupcakes look so good! Now I’m thinking I might need to make cupcakes this week! It all looks so pretty, Pam, from ever bloom to every heart!
Thanks Jeanie. The cupcakes were delicious❤️
Pam, that is simply beautiful, so delicate with all the shades of pink and red. Your pearls are exiquisite, and I love the collage of previous valentines. I’ll bet a certain little princess will love that table too! Is that your beloved mother in the photo in the background? Thanks for lifting my spirits, I’ve been sick as a dog for almost a week with a “flu-like virus”… the worse is behind me though. ?
Oh no, Roxanne I am so sorry that you have been sick. I hope you are feeling much better dear friend. The little princess wants daily treats and she asked today if we could make heart cookies. And of course, we will. Yes, that is my beloved Mother. I keep a small photo of her in my kitchen. I like to think she is watching over me as I cook. She was the best cook! Take care of yourself?
Your flower arrangement and table are so pretty!
Thanks so much Penny. Wishing you a lovely week!
Your post is pretty in pink, and on a small table there is so much to see. My hubby often forgets Valentine’s Day until the last minute dive received more than one card with a crudely drawn rose ? and a message to multiply it by 12. I’m disappointed when it’s anything else!
That is funny, Linda! I love a hand-made card!
Love the crowned heart with the beautiful diamond and pearl necklace from your sweetheart! You have it placed just right to be a symbol of the love you share with Butch. Outstanding!
Thanks so much sweet Alice❤️?❤️
Pam, so lovely. Your flower arrangement is beautiful and everything on your table is perfect. Such a wonderful stage to enjoy sweet and treasured conversation with your dear hubby or special friends.
Have a lovely week, my friend.
Thank you Sandra! Wishing you a lovely week?
Oh my sweet Pam… you have outdid yourself. I am loving all the pink! You have given me some ideas for having some gal pals over for some chit chat and Valentine’s friendship!
And your beautiful necklace is so beautiful and so is your Momma’s tiered tray!
Thanks for the pink love today! ?
Thank you dear friend! Wishing you a wonderful-filled week!?
Gorgeous post from A to Z! I love the idea of displaying your Valentine’s from Butch you have saved over the years and how special to read and enjoy them year after year!
I love your flowers. They are so beautifully arranged and the velvet heart and your pearls are so lovely. Your table is oozing with tempting sweets and is so attractive. Great eye candy and sentiment today!
Thanks so much Bonnie. I am missing you on this blog hop this week. Thinking of you and Mike!
Just amazing!!!Everything is so beautiful and adorable!
Thanks so much Maristella!
Ok, now I’m ready for Valentine’s day! Bring it on. What a great way to start the day 🙂 This is also getting me in the mood for Spring, the flowers are lovely.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Thank you Elizabeth! Have a great week.
So pretty Pam and I call the old cards and letters my “Heart-Aches” because when I read and re-read them, my heart aches, so I perfectly understand the tears. Your flowers are amazing and beautifully arranged. The red velvet heart with a crown is especially lovely….and the pearls are the crowning glory. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Butch. God Bless you both.
Kari @ Me and My Captain

Pam, What a beautiful sentimental setting! The floral arrangement is so lovely & feminine. The crowned heart with your gorgeous pearl necklace delicately nestled in moss perfectly represents Valentine’s day & the love you share with Butch. Happy anniversary to you and Butch. ?Wishing you both many more years of happiness & health. Clara??❤️

Pam, your setting is SO beautiful! Lisianthus are actually one of my very favorite flowers, they last forever and are so feminine and frilly, with their ruffled petals. I love your precious Valentine’s Day cards, and every single detail. Oh, how i wish I could sit at your table, friend. I think we could probably talk for days. xo Lidy
