“So that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.”
Psalms 65:8
Windrows are short lived and soon turn into…
We think Ella Mae has an idea.
We try to always have Hibiscus since they provide summer-long blooms and give us a tropical feel!
Either this is a super flooded pasture or cattle have found a new pastime!

*pasture, not picture!
Thank you Rita. Have a lovely week!
Summer certainly is in full bloom at your house! Love seeing all the flowers. And the drone shot is breathtaking. I’ve never had to put up hay, but my best friend helps her husband and says it is the world’s itchiest job! Hope your week is blooming with joy, sweet Pam.
Thank you dear Roxanne. Wishing you a wonderful week!
I have been following you for only a short time, but I have truly enjoyed every minute. Your gardens and tablescapes are fabulous and inspirational, and I thank you for including scripture with each post! ?❤
Thank you for being a new follower June. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Queen Anne’s Lace has also been a favorite but if it’s seed get into your lawn it will be very hard to rid yourself of it’s tough stems. It dries well and makes a dainty Christmas tree decoration. Miss Ella Mae is so expressive and too cute.
I remind everyone that today is a day of prayer, per Franklin Graham, for our president. There is a true conflict going on in our country between good and evil today and our president is assaulted each and every day.
Thank you Alice and yes for the reminder to pray for our president and country.
I love Queen Annes lace! How blessed you are to have an ample supply! Your stand of thyme is amazing. I’ve never seen so much. Does it reseed itself?
EM is so pretty and such a sweet age. I turned around and my grandkids were elementary age children!
Love your pretty hibiscus. Such a pretty color.
I look forward to tomorrows MM blooms.
Your giveaway is so enticing.
Thank you Bonnie. The thyme never completely dies off in the winter, I cut it year round to use in recipes. Have a joy-filled Sunday!

Pam, such lovely photos to greet me this morning. Sweet Ella Mae so adorable and she seems to be more so with every photo.
Love the cattle crossing – they do love to stand in a creek on a hot summer day – maybe they like deeper water in Alabama.
Your blooms today are lovely and the Queen Anne’s Lace is a favorite of mine. As always dear friend, a beautiful Sunday post. Wishing you and your beautiful family a wonderful day.❤
Thank you Sandra. Wishing you a peaceful Sunday!
I don’t think I realized today was Sunday till I saw your post. I get messed up every year with Memorial Day and it didn’t help that we were at the theatre late on Wednesday, which I thought MUST be Friday. As always, your Sunday post calms me and makes me smile with all its loveliness. I hope your new week is a good one!
Jeanie, I understand not knowing what day it is sometimes. Have a lovely Sunday!
The double standard in our country is boldly sickening. We must all pray constantly for our president and our country against evil forces. It is such a beautiful country in many ways and we are blessed. Your photos are all beautiful. I too enjoy capturing those cute moments of my grandchildren. I love the scriptures that you include.Thank you!
Thank you so much Maria. We must pray for our country, President, and leaders!

The Sabbath is sacrosanct here ….no computer….but the Lord has given His nod to my going to your blog at sundown and drinking in the spirit and beauty you so graciously share with us.
Prayers said for our President and the restoration of our Nation to its God-ordained principles.
Bless you and Butch, Pam, for being such a light.
Thank you Mary, I am so reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14. Have a wonderful week!
One of my favorites and one of His most tender and compassionate admonitions to us…..
The best posts are those that share the words of scripture. They help us to put every blessing into perspective and be able to reflect on the beauty of gardening. Thank you for being one of those bloggers. Your gardening eyesight is phenomenal and I appreciate each and every post. I am so glad that parents are bringing back the beautiful names like Ella Mae and she is just as pretty as her name. I am looking forward to more of your gardening as we go through the summer together.
Thank you Helen for your gracious comments. Sharing scripture with my readers is a blessing!
I wish I could grow Queen Anne’s Lace. It is magnificent in arrangements. Have you read Phyllis Hoffman’s take on it last year and this? She tried and tried to get it to grow and finally she has armfuls. I am so glad I found you this morning. I love the Bible verse at the top each post and all the wonderful things to follow. Would be grateful to be entered. Off to find more posts from you…
Ruthie, I am so glad you found me in this big world of blogging. Yes, I have read Phyllis Hoffman’s post on Queen Anne’s Lace. I love all of her magazine publications and her blog. May I ask how you found my blog?
Ella Mae, I’m sure, has the best ideas ever! She is such a beauty!
And that cow crossing sign… made me giggle.
Beautiful pictures… sweet friend!
Thank you Nancy, enjoy your week!
We live in the Arkansas River Valley, and right now, the cow crossing sign is ACCURATE! Please pray for us, these are flood levels I’ve not seen in my lifetime. The community has pulled together to help neighbors, but when the water recedes, it won’t be good.
Cheryl, I have been seeing the devastation, it is so tragic and heartbreaking. We are praying and will continue to pray❤️??
Pam, what a blessing you are. I love the Queen Anne’s lace..beautiful in arrangements. Ella Mae is always the star and I expect she will begin to contribute ideas for your blog soon. She is a beauty.
Aw, thanks Dianne. Ella Mae is quite entertaining, she talks all the time, but we have so much fun!
What beautiful wildflowers Pam, I haven’t seen those before & I love the name!
Bless you,
Jennifer
They are everywhere in pastures and on roadsides, they are really pretty!
I don’t think we have them here in Australia. I’ve never seen them.
Ella Mae is beautiful!!
Aw thanks so much Mildred!
Getting caught up on your posts. We have been out of town on vacations. I just love queen anne’s lace. I see it growing on the road sides, I wonder if I can just pull it up and start it in my garden? I don’t know if anyone else does this but I love to look on the sides of the road and see the wild flowers that are growing.
Jennifer
Love finding different wildflowers growing along roadsides, it makes me keep my eyes open!
Beautiful picture of beautiful sights. You are blessed!
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Karen!
