“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
Galatians 5:13
Hello sweet friends and I am always thrilled that you are! I have joined with 18 creative table stylists to bring you tabletop inspiration for your 4th of July celebrations. A special thank you to Chloe @ Celebrate & Decorate for organizing this blog hop!
During the spring, summer, and fall seasons my tablescapes are most often set in the garden!
You can find the links for all the red, white, and blue tablescape inspiration at the bottom of this post.
I love patriotic tablescapes anytime, not just on holidays…they are always appropriate!
Each place setting has an American flag that I placed inside a cobalt vase. The mini flags are great as a takeaway gift for your guests. A trio of flags are in the background!
Navy blue placemats anchor off-white chargers and Spode “Blue Italian” dinner plates…star napkin rings hold bold red napkins!
Favorite stemware graces the table with red/white striped straws. It is so easy and inexpensive to add little touches of patriotic decor like the flags and straws to everyday white dinnerware. You don’t have to spend a lot to have a festive holiday table!
“I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it’s marked by the blood of those who died defending it.”
-John Thune
The centerpiece is blue hydrangeas and Annabelle’s from my friend’s hydrangea farm. I repurposed them from yesterday’s post that you can see here if you missed “Celebrating The Red, White, & Blue. The red watering can was the perfect vessel to hold these large showstopper blooms!
The vintage table topper was a gift from my long-time and very special friend, Patti. It has a nautical theme which works well with summer and 4th of July!
“America, America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!”
-Katharine Lee Bates
“My country, ‘‘tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims’ pride,
From every mountainside
Let freedom ring!”
-Samuel Smith
“In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed, it must be achieved.”
-Franklin D. Roosevelt

My fellow proud American, dear Pam. I couldn’t imagine anything topping yesterday’s post, but you sure knocked it out of the park again! I particularly love the blue bud vases each holding an American flag. And your wonderful scripture and quotations are just wonderful.
Do you know what variety of grass is planted amongst your stones? It is so thick and lush!
Thank you dear Roxanne. The grass is zoysia, it is so thick and truly feels like a carpet.
Those hydrageas are a perfect centerpiece, just gorgeous flowers! Wonderful patriotic table.

The hydrangea blooms are so stunning Pam, and arranged in the red watering can in your garden setting they look even more beautiful!
