“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
Isaiah 26:3
Hello sweet friends! An update from Monday’s post: our friends who were doing mission work on Man O War Cay, Abaco Islands are safe with water, food, and a dry place to sleep. But the utter devastation is everywhere and so heart-wrenching. They have no idea when they will be able to fly home. I hope you will join me in praying for the Bahamian people and everyone impacted by Dorian.
Are you savoring the last days of summer or longing for autumn? I am looking forward to cooler temperatures with a little nip in the air! Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me for autumn therapy, it is my favorite season!

I love the flavor of pumpkin…especially pumpkin macarons!

How splendid are the autumn sunsets!

Good morning, Pam! Such gorgeous photographs to get us inspired for autumn! I can’t wait! I am finished with these hot temperatures and high humidity. I was looking at our 9 day forecast, and it looks like highs still in the 90s. I have never had pumpkin macarons, but they sound delicious. I love anything pumpkin. Happy Thursday, sweet friend!!!
Thank you sweet Shannon. We also have 90’s for several days. Have a wonderful Thursday!
Look at YOU! Good Morning sweet beautiful Pam!
There are Fall Feels here in NW Pennsylvania. Cool temps in the morning and evening. One of my trees are even showing some red flare!
I just love all your Autumn Therapy! It has gotten me in the mood. I am off to buy some Autumn accessories to make a wreath for the front porch.
Thank you for your stunning Autumnal Captures! Have a beautiful weekend dear friend!
Aw, Nancy you are a sweetheart. Enjoy your cool temps. We are still in the 90’s!
Thank you dear friend. We still have temps, but much lower humidity which helps. I can’t wait to see your wreath!
Pam, It’s such a relief (praise God for His protection) to know your friends are safe for the moment & hopefully they will be able to fly to home soon. We’re praying for all impacted. It’s a relief knowing the hurricane has become a little weaker but many hours of being battered like the Bahamas were is so scary! Please remember those in the Carolinas (where Dorian may make landfall) especially the infirmed who can’t be easily moved out of harm’s way. Thank you for giving us an update as they have been on my mind. As I write this CBS is interviewing a woman on Man O War Cay & showing the utter devastion. The pictures are wonderful as usual! They’re so colorful & I love the quotes. I’m ready for Fall! My grandma always said I wished my life away but I am soooo ready for some consistently cool days! Lol The color of fall is so beautiful. Your last frame brought such a smile to my face! I love all your fall vignettes. The water mill is so pretty & frame worthy. Blessings to you! Clara ❤️
Yes, I am praying for our Eastern Coast, it seems that this hurricane has been on our minds and in our prayers forever. It left such devastation in the Bahamas. Thank you dear Clara, have a wonderful day❤️
Wonderful pictures! Beautiful Autumn colors, just stunning…Your photo is adorable, sweet Pam!God bless you all.
Thank you sweet Maristella!
Pam, I’m a Summer person. But after looking at these gorgeous pics, I just may have converted to being an Autumn gal! Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks Katie, I am glad you are back summer girl! Have a wonderful weekend!
Pam, thanks for the beautiful pictures. The leaves haven’t started to turn here yet – but any day now.
It is still in the 90’s here, but the skies have been bright blue which is a sign that autumn is coming!
The weather has begun to change. I love the cooler weather and I love Fall. My husband and I got married in the fall. Thank you for the gorgeous Autumn pictures.
Thank you dear Maureen. Autumn is a beautiful time for a wedding. Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow, I cannot believe the color you have already. No leaves are turning color here and the temps are in the 90’s. I love autumn. You truly are blessed living in such a beautiful place.
The color is a,axing. Love the pumpkins, a lovely table you set. Thanks for sharing so much beauty.
Thank you Linda, no color yet just dreaming of it in my post. Happy Weekend!
What a series of gorgeous photos, Pam! I’m a summer girl but I do love the colors and feel of fall — I just would rather it stick around longer and start later! When I finally learned that I can bring goldenrod inside, I was a happy person, though I’ve not done it yet. But seeing that lovely goldenrod in the vase has my mind whirling with ideas! All beautiful things here, of course!
Thank you Jeanie, I also discovered I could bring goldenrod inside without allergy outbreaks!
Pam, your photos are beautiful and certainly inspires one for autumn. I am not decorated for the season as it is still so warm here – in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. My favorite photo is of the goldenrod in the copper kettle. It is stunning. I have never had pumpkin macaroons, but I am sure I would love them.
Thankful your friends are safe, the devastation in the Bahamas was heartbreaking. I am praying for all those on our east coast.
Have a lovely weekend, dear friend.
Thank you Sandra. It is in the 90’s here, but low humidity and bright blue skies…autumn is coming! Have a wonderful weekend!
Our forecast is 97 today, 99 Saturday, 100 Sunday and 98 Monday. I sure hope it is wrong.
Beautiful Autumn photos. I look forward to the fall season.
Glad your friends are safe. The devastation is incredible and the storm battered for so long.
Enjoy your day!
Bonnie, it is the 90’s here, but low humidity and lots of wind. Have a wonderful weekend!
Over night it seems the days have gotten shorter and the temperature has dropped. As much as I like fall, it makes me sad that summer is such a short season in Maine. When I see all the pumpkins come in, I’ll get over being sad!
Linda, summer can be so long here, I always am ready for fall!
Beautiful photos, but the espresso and chocolate touched my soul! Mmmm! You began this post with one of my favorite verses. Keeping a steadfast mind is difficult in this world. Amen! Happy last days of summer to you.
Thank you Leslie Anne, have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful Pam. Fall is in .
Marilyn and Marion
Thank you Marilyn and Marion!
Such beautiful glimpses of Autumn…it’s hard to remember what a nip in the air feels like as it’s even too hot at the beach this week unless you’re in the water!! The last photo of you is wonderful! I can’t wait to go pumpkin shopping!
Jenna, we were in Birmingham last night and Trader Joe’s had lots of pumpkins. I didn’t buy any, it is too hot! Roll Tide!
Oh goodie!! I’ll be back in a day or so and will start my collection!! Thanks Pam!
Dear Pam, I always love seeing your photos of the season; fall is my favorite of all. We are heading to the Tetons and Yellowstone next week and I hope you see the beautiful sites you have. Thank you again for sharing His glory with us.
Noreen
Thanks so much Noreen. Enjoy Yellowstone and Teton!
Your pics are absolutely breathtaking!
Thanks so much!
Pam, the angle of the sun on your patio this time of year as fall progresses cannot be beat! That is simply outstanding. Great recapped photos of what’s to come.
ps Is this the first week you’ve not done a Tablescape Tuesday?? It did not go unnoticed!
Thank you Rita. The weeks that I have MMB’s, they are taking the place of tablescapes. Keeping both girls three days, it is all I can do to keep up (LOL). Thanks for noticing 😊
You have me so ready for fall. The temperature is still hovering near 100 down here and even thinking cool thoughts isn’t helping. I do plan to get the fall items from the attic this weekend and see if I can’t at least enjoy the anticipation of it being cooler outside. What ingredients do you include in your fall scent brew? We love all smells and things of fall in our house. Thank you for the inspiration in every picture in this post. You are amazing!
Libby, it is still in the 90’s here, but the humidity is lower which helps. I change up the “brew” but typically cinnamon stick, whole cloves, ground nutmeg, sliced apple, orange, lemon, bay leaf, allspice, coriander. I just throw it all in and let it barely simmer…it smells like fall!
That photo of you amid the autumn hues expresses sheer joy. Continued prayers for all affected by the storms and gratitude
that your friends are safe and homeward-bound. Autumn sunrises was an eye-opener. Are we not blessed to have such
beautiful visions of His creation and a photographer with the sensitivity to catch “the moment”? I am in the planning stage of
reconstructing my Fall settings to correspond with space and energy, but pumpkins galore will be involved, to be certain. After all, I understand that orange is the new black….. Bless you for this delightful Autumnal interlude, dear Friend.
Thank you dear Mary. I love capturing autumn with my camera. I will have an abundance of pumpkins, love them and mums for fall! Have a wonderful weekend!
Breathtaking photos Pam! Spring & Autumn are my favorite seasons & you’re in one & I am in the other 😀
Have been paying for those in the hurricane dear friend.
Blessings,
Jennifer
Thank you Jennifer and for your prayers. There is horrific devastation in the Bahamas…heartbreaking! Enjoy spring in Australia!
