“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”
Psalms 106:1
Hello sweet readers! Can you believe we are already in the month of November? This is the month of one of my favorite holidays…Thanksgiving. It is a day filled with family and food centered around our table. After my beloved mother passed away, I have hosted Thanksgiving each year using her delicious recipes and retaining her menu…her food will always be the best! It is a day overflowing with memories and thankfulness for all of God’s wonderful blessings. And to us, nothing could be better than Thanksgiving at home!
It was a perfect autumn afternoon to set a table on the patio. I realized I had not set a single table on the patio during spring, summer, or autumn. It was time to do so. There have been many Thanksgivings that we could eat outside with comfortable temps and a few that were bitter cold. Weather permitting, there will definitely be outside activity this Thanksgiving!
The garden has taken on its autumn look, and even more so since we’ve had frosts over the past few mornings!
You are in for a treat today! I am joining a group of talented table stylists to bring you a week of Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration hosted by Chloe from Celebrate & Decorate. You can find the links at the bottom of this post.
The spider mums from yesterday’s Monday Morning Blooms are making an appearance in a well-loved pitcher…
…on either side are antler candlestands!
Amber stemware is a favorite for the fall season. Ginkgo leaves seem to have fallen on the table!
Royal Stafford turkey salad plates were added to my dish collection. I saw them a couple of months ago at TJ Maxx and they jumped into my cart! Do you have that problem when things jump off the shelves and announce they are coming home with you?
The turkey plates are a perfect pairing with Spode “woodland” dinner plates!
A multi-colored stack of leaf plates hold a pumpkin!
Plaid chargers and faux tortoise flatware from Horchow complete each place setting!

Pam, I love your tables set on the patio with a glimpse of the garden in the background. So pretty and autumnal with the amber goblets, fallen leaves, plaid chargers and tortoise flatware on your table. I have matching dinner plates to your turkeys, and yes, I think you know I have a problem with things jumping in my cart when shopping at TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. 🙂 We’re fortunate too in NC that the weather is usually mild enough to eat on the screen porch or gather around outside while the menfolk fry the turkey. So happy to join you at the table and blog hop with you this week.♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Mary. It is nice for the children to play outdoors and release some energy before we eat!

Gorgeous, if I didn’t already have turkey salad plates, I’d want yours!

Oh my goodness, Pam, that setting in your garden is absolutely, positively, without a doubt stunning! Looking toward the statues from the table and the blending of the fall colors….it really takes my breath away. The table itself is classic with the Royal Stafford turkeys and amber stems. Your added flatware is the jewelry, and those antler candlesticks keep it grounded for a masculine appeal. The ginkgo leaves are beautiful, like celebratory confetti on this table. I can’t believe this is your first table on the patio this year! But you sure made it a beauty.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Rita! I don’t know why I haven’t set a patio table this year. Enjoy your week.

Having your beautiful garden in the background is the quintessential centerpiece!
Your Thanksgiving Table set with your new Turkey plates and Amber glasses is not only quite stunning but perfect for your Family Gathering. How lucky you are to have everyone so close to gather.
We will head back to the LakeHouse just in time for Thanksgiving. My son is hosting with help from my other son… they will start the Turkey. And they will get some sides going. Then Momma will arrive and we will all be there to cook together and have a fabulous meal. We too have Thanksgiving Blessings! Thanks Be to God!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Nancy! I love that you gather at the lake house for Thanksgiving. I know many memories have been made there.
I commented on your fabulous post a few minutes ago, and it didn’t show up. I think it is a problem with WP reader. I hope you received it.
Nancy says
I got it. And am thrilled you came along! It must be something with WP reader.

Oh, Pam – such a gorgeous table. I do love your Royal Stafford turkey plates and yes, things jump in my cart, too. I am especially fond of your flatware it is not only perfect for your china, but is beautiful. The ginkgo leaves are so special to me, as I left my gorgeous ginkgo tree in VA. However, I have her fall leaves framed and proudly reside in our foyer. A lovely, lovely table in a stunning setting. Happy November to you and your family, my friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet friend. I know the framed ginkgo leaves make a beautiful statement in your foyer. Enjoy your week!

Pam, this is a gorgeous Thanksgiving table set on your lovely patio. Your autumn garden serves as the perfect backdrop. Your new turkey plates are perfect, and I have the same problem with things jumping in my cart…especially dishes and table linens. Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!

How wonderful that you are able to spend Thanksgiving on your beautiful patio! In NJ, we will be lucky if it doesn’t snow! Actually, we have had a few warmer Thanksgivings in the past, just not warm enough to eat outdoors. Your table is so beautiful! I love the plaid chargers and those turkey plates. I wish I grabbed some of those on my recent trip to Homegoods… I’m sure they are gone by now. That’s why it really does pay to grab them while you can. You were smart to let yours “jump into your cart”! The traditional fall colors are so pretty on your table and I love how you stacked the plates with the pumpkins. Great hopping with you!
Shelley
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Shelley. Yes, I have learned to grab those bargains because they will be gone in a flash!
the Painted Apron says
Oh what a backdrop! It is absolutely gorgeous Pam! And the soft rusts, oranges and browns you’ve brought to the table are perfect for this garden setting! I love that you inherited the Thanksgiving family tradition from your mom, and I know you love to fill your home with family! I do hope we have nice weather so the children can run around outside and work up their appetites {and run off their energy!} We used to have a huge family gathering every year for Thanksgiving, but now that the children are grown with families of their own and in law obligations things have changed and we go to the beach house for a small casual meal and weekend. I do miss the large gathering, but they will all be at my house for Christmas. Your place settings with the turkey plate, plaid charger and brown flatware look beautiful, and the antler candlesticks are great for outdoor dining. So far I have avoided turkey plates jumping in my cart, but seeing all these turkey tables is making it harder and harder 😂🦃

Your Thanksgiving table is such a gorgeous setting and just unimaginable to me. The weather here is lots of high winds and rain feeling like winter ins blowing in – so I am going to live vicariously through your fabulous outdoor Thanksgiving! I love the fall color pallet of browns and rusts, your beautiful spider mums show it off beautifully. Love the plaid chargers and the tortoise flatware!! It is always a pleasure to hop with you! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thank you dear Ann. Wishing you a most blessed season of Thanksgiving!

Pam you are so blessed to have such a fabulous garden setting for a Thanksgiving table — in November too! There will be outdoor activity at our house over the holiday, but not dinning. There’s the guys running the Turkey Trot in the am (we don’t eat until 6), and a football game in the afternoon where the boys meet childhood friends home for the holiday on the elementary school field (an easy walk).
Love those unique, special anther candlesticks! And, after seeing those gorgeous turkey plates, I may have to find room to purchase and store some. My brown transferware plates have peacocks on them — a nod to an ancestor’s name who was a spy for Washington. The Brits called him the Rebel Bird (get it?)!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Debbee. I love reading of the activities that your family enjoys on Thanksgiving. Wishing you a beautiful week!

Pam, how lovely it is to be enjoying Thanksgiving outdoors. Here is Wisconsin we had several inches of snow already at Halloween. It is so refreshing to see your beautifully set table outside among your gardens. First, your entire patio is gorgeous with scattered pumpkins throughout. Your turkey salad plates and plaid chargers are bright and beautiful with your spider mums and stunning orange taper candles in antler candleholders. I certainly enjoy seeing your beautiful table and setting. Many blessings to you and your family during this Thanksgiving season.

I cannot even express how much I love the Gingko leaves on your pretty table. Your patio setting with a view of your gorgeous Fall garden is such a perfect backdrop for your gorgeous table. So many special touches and those unique antler candler sticks are a show stopper! My brown transferware also came from TJ Maxx and I totally understand things jumping into the shopping cart.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you so much Shirley! Have a wonderful weekend!
Sandra Garth says
Well it’s snowing in Michigan so there’s no chance of outdoor dining for us. How nice of Mother Nature to sprinkle the gingko leaves on the table they look like you intentionally place them there. I do try to keep those items from jumping into my cart but sometimes they can be very persistent. Your traditional color palette and decor make for a picture perfect table. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving season!

I just realized I hadn’t seen any posts from you in my inbox in a few days! I need to figure out what has happened. I’m so glad I looked on your blog because this table setting is absolutely beautiful! We are supposed to have our first freeze tomorrow night. Now the debate begins…do I try to save any outdoor plants or just give up?!? I have a huge Kimberly Queen fern I sure hate to lose.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks for checking, I don’t know why you didn’t receive the emails. We had frost while we were in Charleston, and the night we came home. We are supposed to have highs only in the 30’s next Tuesday and Wednesday with snow flurries! I would hate to lose the fern.
