“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’”
Matthew 25:40
Home Tours have become a regular here at Everyday Living, and I have loved wandering through them all with you! Today we are taking a little road trip down to Montgomery, AL to the home of Cole and Joy Portis.
I don’t personally know the Portis family, but after reading about them, I certainly feel like I do! The Portis family brings together two things that are close to my heart: the great state of Alabama and the heart of God to adopt us as His children. While their house is beautiful inside and out, it pales in comparison to the sweet home they have built for their 3 biological children, the 6 they have adopted, and over 20 they have fostered! Their lives are a beautiful reminder of our Heavenly Father who has chosen and adopted us into His family, and provided everything that we need.
I am excited for you to see their home today, and I am even more excited for you to read more of their story here and here.

A beautiful stair hall with Peacock Pavers concrete stair treads and pavers that simulate an old stone floor…love the Borne settee.
