“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
It seems like our nation, our world has been struck with tragedy after tragedy. I am praying for all of you who may be in harm’s way of Irma or the wildfires that are blazing out west. My prayer is that you all find comfort in knowing that our God calms the raging seas and that He alone is the All Consuming Fire. Very close friends of mine are on Sint Maarten and were unable to get a flight out. The island was hit with the full category 5 force yesterday morning. As I am writing this, I have no word from them…I continue to pray for their safety and for the safety of all.
With all the disasters and human tragedy that is occurring, blogging about home and garden may seem unimportant and insensitive…but it is my hope that it will be a little bright spot in your day. Today’s vignette is simple, but it reminds us that autumn is soon to arrive!
