“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.”
Proverbs 4:23
If you haven’t noticed, we love to celebrate birthdays in our family! We eat and laugh and celebrate life! And this past Sunday, we celebrated Allison! She has the most unique birth date…8-8-88, easy to remember! The menu was simple but the birthday girl’s favs – Butch’s famous grilled burgers with the trimmings and homemade vanilla bean ice cream – perfect for a summer day! Come join us for the party!
The inspiration for the setting was the turquoise napkins that we used for Seth and Allie’s wedding!
You can see more here: The Wedding Edition.
The turquoise gives that pop of color to the table!
The place mats were at the bottom of a linen drawer and I had forgotten about them…happy to find and use them!
Beaded coasters from an outlet store match the stemware and napkins. Sweet napkin rings with a little bling!
The dinner and salad plates along with the flatware appear often on Tablescape Tuesday!
The birch floral containers remain a favorite find!

Peacock bowl full of apples!

I cut lemon balm and limelight hydrangeas from the garden to fill the birch containers!

Very pretty! I love this combination of colors. I’m on my Chromebook so not sure if I am seeing the colors correctly. It looks like almost a salmony pink mixed with turquoise? I love it. I love paisley, peacocks and hamburgers so this setting is a win-win to me!
