“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.”
John 1:1 “Hark the herald angels sing “Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled”
Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim: “Christ is born in Bethlehem”
Hark! The herald angels sing “Glory to the newborn King!” A Simple Southern church! A trio of brotherly love…our great nephews…aren’t they cute? Surely, Butch cut enough greenery for the kitchen door! I think Beau is excited that Santa is coming…what do you think?! After several days of rain, water was rushing over Noccalula Falls on Friday! I wonder if David and Jacob know who’s behind them? Ho! Ho! Ho! Snickers got caught trying to un-decorate the tree! I’m sure sweet Braden was on the nice list this year! The beautiful windows at Etc Jewelry in Mountain Brook rival any windows in New York City! Photo from @shopetcjewelry! Even the barn is decked out for Christmas! Who’s the driver of this truck? Espresso on a cold day…bliss A picture post card -beautiful Aspen!

Adorable children in these pictures. The one with Santa in the background behind pitiful Beau is priceless! I’d love to see your kitchen door decor after adding that greenery. Can you see the door? Ha! Sunday blessings to you and yours, Sue!

A good crisp Sunday morning to you Pam,
Sending a note from Redmond WA. Our weather has been cold (24 degrees in the early morning), I’ve been following your blog for a couple of weeks now and have not only enjoyed it immensely but told several friends about it as well. Living here in the gorgeous forests of the great Northwest reminds us every day of the bountiful beauty we receive daily from our heavenly Father. Its such a blessing to connect with another faithful follower of our Lord Jesus. I have to smile as I look at the pictures each day on your blog, as they remind me of our home. You are such a kindred spirit. So many of your dishes, glassware, silver are the same patterns as the ones I’ve collected over the 53 years of our marriage. The beauty of your décor and what you choose in decorating your home is like walking into mine. So many similarities………..the scriptures you choose have been a blessing as well. You wed them so beautifully to the pictures…………now each morning I look forward to having you visit me
at my desk in our study, its become a little devotional for me.
His peace to you today Pam,
Carolyn
Pam Richardson says
Carolyn, welcome and I am honored to meet you! Thanks for your encouraging words! I love how God sends fellow believers to encourage one another. I imagine living in those gorgeous Northwest forests is a constant reminder of our Creator and Giver of good gifts! We live in the foothills of the Appalachians and enjoy all four seasons! This morning the temperature was in the mid 30’s, but will warm to 60 by afternoon! I am thrilled that you have been following our blog and thanks for telling others! It is unique how we started the blog. My husband bought the domain four years ago and it was going to be his blog, but he never started. We kept paying the yearly fee and he never started. In July 2014, I suggested we start the blog together. So, we did! Our intention was to share scripture daily and allow God to do whatever He wanted to do with it! What He has done has exceeded what I ever dreamed! He is faithful and His word will not return void! I love that our collections are the same. We will be married 43 years in February! Thanks is not adequate to let you know how much your comments have inspired me! I pray that God will use the blog for His glory and that His name would be made known! Wishing for you and yours a Merry Christmas and a joy-filled Monday! Blessings, Pam
