“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger”
Luke 2:11-12
Welcome back to our home on this December day! The halls have been decked and today I am continuing our Christmas tour. I mentioned in a previous post that I like to add a little Christmas to the bedroom…nothing major, but just enough to remind us that the most wonderful time of the year is upon us!
And one more thing…it’s snowing in our hallway! Ok, not really…but you’ll just have to take a look at the sweet winter vignette I designed for this season!
I removed the paisley quilt and shams and added a new pillow from TJ Maxx. A large Santa that was lovingly made by Mother sits on the side table!
On this side table is a small hand-blown glass bowl (recently purchased in KY) filled with ornaments! This beautiful porcelain doll wearing tartan plaid, was also made by Mother!
Those who know me best, know that I like shoes! These plaid shoes were bought last year for my niece’s December wedding! I just had to show them to you…after all, they look like Christmas!
I found the lacquered toile tray at Tuesday Morning and it makes a lovely accent on the bed along with my leopard robe! The Hummel skaters and ice rink were a gift from my ladies’ Sunday School Class several years ago! Love their cherub faces!
Italian roast coffee with my home-made fruit cake muffins…bliss!
I love to see the words, “Merry Christmas”!!!
Snowy vignette on the hall table! The three stands are holding children dressed for the cold! The stands are actually for cupcakes and they have cloches that wouldn’t fit over the trees! I love to shop my house for items that can be used for Christmas!
“…and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Luke 2:13-14

Pam, I love those plaid heels! I’m a shoe hound too, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve loaded up the plaid shoes in a cart on various websites, only to abandon it for reasons of pure guilt! Guilty pleasure? Hmmm…
Your decor looks very welcoming and festive.
Pam Richardson says
Thanks, Rita! I have done the same thing about the shoes! But the wedding last Christmas gave me the perfect excuse to purchase and they were 40% off!
