“For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Revelation 7:17 “Raindrops keep falling on my head, but that doesn’t mean my eyes
Will soon be turning red, crying’s not for me ’cause,
I’m never gonna stop the rain by complaining,
Because I’m free nothing’s worrying me”
Burt Bacarach, Hal David A grand place for worshippers in one of America’s great cities. A winter sunrise seen from our patio invites us to celebrate the blessing of a new day. A plate filled with comfort
Hunter and Grant will not be denied the opportunity to play in the front yard. They adjusted well to the situation. Water has been in excess in much of the country including north Alabama. The deepest gorge east of the Mississippi, Little River Canyon is beautiful in all seasons. “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’””
John 7:38 Water “falling” it’s way deeper into the canyon and eventually into Weiss Reservoir. A winter day on Weiss Lake finds the lake well above full pool summer levels! You would naturally expect to see cattails at the edge of a peaceful pond in a country setting. A close look at the background (through winters bare trees) tells a different story. Try Central Park, New York City. And sometimes water gets our attention by taking on a soft and fluffy form (although not too often where we live). It’s still all wet.

Wonderful photos. I need to get out and take more Kentucky photos. We often say that Kentucky is a heaven kind of place, even on tee shirts. ? Sheila

God sure give us some gorgeous water scenery! I never realized the beautiful sky scenes I was missing all those years in ATL. Now that we live out in the open with lots of sky, we really enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets most every day. We are blessed, aren’t we?!
Pam Richardson says
We are certainly blessed to live out in the country and enjoy all of God’s handiwork!

Oh, my, what beauty!
My husband is an artist and I tend to look at landscape photos as paintings. The bridge over the lake and the reflection in the water is gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing.
