Sometimes life just gets crazy! With all the busyness of work schedules and a baby shower, we had to postpone a birthday celebration! And if you’ve been a follower of the blog for very long, you know we love to celebrate birthdays in our family! Last Friday evening, we were finally able to celebrate our chosen daughter, Katy! With Easter coming soon, I set an Easter tablescape with lots of beautiful spring color! We enjoyed many laughs along with some of Katy’s favorite foods! For dessert, we had everyone’s favorite…red velvet cake! What better way to celebrate than combining one of our favorite Christian holidays with an “egg-stra” special birthday!
I love the colors of an Easter table setting!
A spring mix bouquet purchased from the grocery store served as the center piece!
Chalk eggs in cute holders marked each place setting!

Name cards rested on small faux carrots…rattan chargers provide texture!
A pair of rabbit planters hold more chalk eggs!

I used a yellow-striped, seersucker tablecloth with a quilted table runner…love to layer textures!
Bright pink napkins are held by chalk napkin rings!
