“Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger”
James 1:19
Don’t you just love when things fall into place? No plans, no expectations, they just work! This was the case with my little vignette on the coffee table. Last Tuesday, the hydrangeas from my front yard made their debut on Tablescape Tuesday, and I just couldn’t get enough! I kept admiring their beauty and I decided they needed to be on my coffee table for an impromptu vignette! All I really had to do was just add flowers! 15 minutes, no purchases, and voila! Isn’t that the best kind of decorating?!
Of course, I have to share with you, my readers!
With the hydrangeas in bloom, I knew they would be the showstopper for a late-spring coffee table vignette!

What is a coffee table without a cup of dark roast coffee? Vintage cup and saucer are “Coaching Scenes” by Johnson Bros.
Hydrangeas might be my favorite flower!
The hexagonal mirrored gold tray is a Mother’s Day gift from Katy…love it!
The coffee table book is a Mother’s Day present from Seth and Allison…it was on my wish list!

I received this small leopard box as a gift for a purchase at a ladies’ clothing store…it contains playing cards. To be a freebie, it sure has an elegant look!
The pair of small vases are French laboratory flasks. They are perfect for a few stems!
Love the insider tips for navigating thrift shops, yard sales, and flea markets…plus the table settings are exquisite!
The sphere adds a little more gold to the vignette. Gold has made a huge come-back…but it never went out for me!
Thanks for your visit, I so appreciate each one of you!

Yes, flowers do make a difference…they make me smile! Happy Tuesday!
So often I use the same thing different which is one of my favorite ways to create a new look. I’m impatient for our hydrangeas to bloom.
I like that thought, same thing different! You will be enjoying your hydrangeas long after ours are spent. Happy Tuesday!
It’s all simply beautiful! You’ve received some wonderful gifts, too. (Thanks for the idea to give others a wish list.) Your cup and saucer are the icing on the cake since it compliments the hydrangeas so well. Hope your Monday has been great – with lots of time for perusing your book!
Kim, still haven’t had time to completely read the book, but I am working on it! As always, thank you for your encouraging words! Blessings, Pam
Beautiful Pam…Hydrangeas have to be my favorite too!….Love your chair in the background…well, the entire room for that matter…thanks for taking us a “coffee table chat tour”…..Have a great week!

Rhonda, you will love the book, great style. Have a beautiful day! Blessings
Wow the hydrangea colors are fantastic! Mine don’t get that deep coloring and it will be a while before I have blooms. The arrangement on the coffee table is lovely. I am enjoying seeing bits and pieces of your room’s deco. Loving the leopard print rug! The book looks intriguing- I trust you are enjoying it!
Liz, thanks so much! I am enjoying the book, it has tons of great tips! The leopard rug is a workhorse, never shows any stains! Blessings~
Don’t blame you one bit Pam. If we could grow gorgeous hydrangeas like that I would have them everywhere around the house! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
Jann, the hydrangeas are having a wonderful year! Happy weekend!
Pam, this is just gorgeous! Sharing on Facebook. Thanks so much for joining Thoughts of Home on Thursday. You make us look good. 🙂
Stacey, you are so sweet to share on FB! Thanks so much!
I love your living room! It isn’t my personal style but I love how you have melded traditional and chic touches along with the wood paneling. I think it looks fantastic! I also envy your perfectly decorated coffee table. I have two little boys so I can’t keep anything on ours except crayon marks!
Thanks, Elizabeth! I remember those days when the coffee table was cleared for little trucks and Legos! Happy Saturday!
