“And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.”
Luke 2:6-7
It’s a busy, yet wonderful time of the year! We hope that you’re all enjoying these last few days leading up to the celebration of the birth of our Savior! I’m sure there are presents to be wrapped, cookies to be baked, and those last minute things to mark off your lists…I know I still have things to do! Today, I wanted to just give you one more small glimpse into our home, because after all….
“…It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas..
Take a look in the five-and-ten, it’s glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes that glow.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
A pair of hop-along boots and a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben,
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of Janice and Jen,
Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
There’s a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well,
It’s the sturdy kind that doesn’t mind the snow.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”
Thank you for your comments and always sharing in our everyday living!

Dolores
Which are beautiful ornaments, all are magnificent. Yes, Christmas is here, at least today we have winter with all its finery. The Birth of the fireplace is lovely, I love it … But I also like the figure of the lady with white hair and Christmas apron, it’s great.
Merry Christmas, dear friends Pam and Butch, a loving hug
