Brrrr! Even our fountain downtown is frozen!
Lilly is warming up by the fire!
A fresh and delicious salad of Brussels sprouts, apples, pecorino, and hazelnuts.
The winter brings a different beauty around our Coosa River…I am sure those waters are extremely cold!

Dolores
Hello Pam, have you missed me? … I hope so … I have a rather traveling Christmas. Christmas in Madrid, New Year’s Eve in Granada, Three Kings Festival in Madrid and now I’m going again to Granada to celebrate the Kings with the other family. I think the parties may end up with me.
I see that winter is already looming with its best galas, here too, but it has not snowed in the cities around me.
Beautiful pictures that you show, they are always a feast for the eyes, I love them.
I need to normalize my life.
A big hug
Dolores

Dolores, ¡te he echado mucho de menos!
Dolores, I have missed you very much! I was in hopes that you were enjoying your family! It sounds like you have been very busy with family and that is wonderful! I always look forward to each of your visits and I love to hear from you! Take care of yourself! With love, Pam

Did you get any snow? I know you were all primed for it. It has been very cold here with temps at night in the low 20’s which hasn’t happened in years. It got to 41 in the day today.Glad it was sunny. My camellias were beautiful when I got back Friday late but I was so tired I didn’t think of cutting them. Now, they are all brown! It will be in the 70’s later in the week. That is crazy.
Love your son’s aerial photos. I really enjoy his pics. Does he fly the plane too? Glad your drought is over and the falls are beautiful again.
Your salad looks good. Was it Brussel Sprouts “Leave it to Beaver “challenged his parents over? My daughter made a Brussel Sprout salad for us similar to yours.
I’m now wondering if our town fountain froze. Your’s certainly did.Love the eagle photo and as always Simple Sunday is enjoyable.

Bonnie, we didn’t get but a spoonful of snow, but very cold temps. Seth is a licensed drone pilot, so everything is done on the ground as he flies it and photographs! Stay warm and have a wonderful week!
