“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.”

Such a peaceful looking path!
The Japanese Magnolias normally bloom in early March in NE AL, but this year they were in full bloom the first of February!
Mary Collins is ready for her Valentines party!
I sure do love bread…but it’s not on the Whole30 program! Stay tuned for a post about progress and a recipe coming soon!
As simple and southern as it gets!

Oh, Mary Collins is adorable in her red bows! She’s a cutie, for sure. Beautiful downtown home, old barn, and falling-in-house. The stories that house could tell!! As always, your natural surroundings are gorgeous. I hope you and yours have a wonderful, restful day!

I love this comment, cottagegreenonthelake, because no one is alone on Valentine’s Day. Yes! Pam, that looks like bamboo growing in the last photograph. Very cool?

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!” … haha! For some reason all my comments today are worship lyrics! Not a bad thing! ?

I don’t think I could ever do Whole30 with the resident bread maker. I love that photo. And to see the blooming trees makes my heart smile. Just a couple more months up here — late April to mid-May for our bloomers!

Jeanie, doing without bread and sweets are the hardest part, but we are on day 20, we can do this!

Yes, with no winter weather in the south, all the flowering trees and plants are blooming much too early this year. But, they are beautiful. I just hope we don’t have an Easter freeze. Your little Valentine Doll is just that! Precious!

Thanks so much and yes everything is way early? And I hope spring doesn’t get confused!
